Wow, I just got a great topic IDEA from a new connection here at Wealthy Affiliate and that is understanding how a Real Estate Blog can help Realtor succeed.
I had a friend, Lee Pollen who was once the best Real Estate agent in California. How does this help the modern Realtor make more money?
Information brokerage is what Bloggers do best. We share information and help people make educated choices. For a real estate agent you can write about things like how to tell mildew from black mold, or how to find out if a house has termite history or has been in a flood etc. You can also write about Landlord Tenant laws and link to your property listings site from there. What's more is you can link to things like plumbers and contractors, and hardware suppliers that either pay for commissions or buy telephone leads.
There are so many things you know and experience that can help future home buyers and tenants and can both boost your sales and add 100,000 or more in eventual second income from blogging. How many Air Conditioning units would it take to sell to make $100,000 a year in commissions for example?
If your blog were to increase your sales just 8% would it make you more valuable to your broker or sellers? If your blog put your agency on the map against top agencies in the area would you get more listings?
