My journey with Skool has begun.
Without self promoting I am here as Kyle recommended with an update on my progress using Skool.
Skool for those who don't know is a community/training center builder focused on creating scalable classrooms with both free and paid offers for the people you drive into your community. To date they boast over 50,000 communities with around 1,000 new communities per month being built and those 50K Leaders are earning combined revenue over $1,000,000,000 a year with the current GOAT earning over $300,000 per month.
My Community called Cash Legion is just starting out, I have a few mostly free classrooms up and have the community gate offering free membership to the first 500 members who join. With little in the way of promotion I am sitting with 15 of us and building my inroads to Wealthy Affiliate for members seeking more advanced training with a step by step system.
Members who have lower incomes are my primary target market.
The idea is to give them a place to get their feet wet in affiliate marketing and earn their dues to pay in WA. If we can help them turn small dollars into the $99 per month or even grow enough for the annual packages before they move over our conversions for Wealthy Affiliate Premium+ Membership will soar.
Needless to say I have been working on this build day and night for 2 weeks now and that has provided less time inside WA for interaction and content but I am now at a point my schedule should allow for both. What I am wondering is who else has built a feeder program for Wealthy Affiliate. I would love to seem more examples and welcome your DM, we may be able to Collaborate on our projects.

Oh skool is reeeealllly good, I'm part of a community on there dedicated to building your own list through affiliate marketing.
I like the entire concept of skool and use it daily, but reading your post has taught me something new about it.
Would you send me the link to your project please
Good morning Andy,
Thank you for your blog post, it's nice to read a genuine and real post, rather than an AI post!
I actually wondered where you had been, because I know you were making quite a few videos and posting frequently, but I do appreciate that things get busy.
I must admit I have never heard of Skool, I do find it amazing the amount of platforms that are available to all of us! I must admit it does sound very interesting, in what you are doing.
I did notice in one of the comments that Romy wrote, the price sounds quite high at $99. Of course, that's absolutely fine if it works and it obviously does for many people, hence the price.
This sounds like a really great tool, Andy, it would be great to hear more, as I'm sure you will be documenting your journey.
Thank you for the heads-up and have a great day.
Roy
That's good to hear, Andy, it's always great when a member documents their journey.
Enjoy your day.
Roy
That's important, Andy and also a very great aspect.
We should be able to enjoy our work, even though it may have challengers at times.
All the best.
Roy
There’s a Hobby level (one community) for $9/month.
My new community is Weather Accelerator
Thank you, Dave, I didn't know that, but that's interesting to know.
It looks like an interesting platform.
How are you finding the Skool platform, Dave?
I can't think who the owner is, but I saw him on LinkedIn the other day, which reminded me of Andy's post, which is where I first heard about Skool.
Have a great day.
Roy
Just got you approved, sorry my right hand was swollen from a bee sting a couple days back s I was slow moderating anything.
Ciao Andy!!! Congrats on this huuuuge step!!
I am in a Skool community about content creation! I loved the idea of creating a community but I saw very Little engagement into my group.
I Guess the Major problem Is to keep people Active inside the community since their attention Is Always shared among several social media!
What scared me was also the cost, 99 dollars a month before! Now they reduced to 9?
The $9 is a hobby account, it will let you build out the group and start to network with people that basically you know and bring in yourself but does not allow you to offer a commission or automate certain task. I am part of a few groups to network and that is feeding some of my early sign ups but the main reason I think I will be a success when I upgrade from Hobby to pro is I already have a social network that is nearing 5,000 members and across my social media profiles I am connected to over 30,000 business leaders and affiliate marketers. Once the earnings capabilities are turned on attracting those people will be like putting a flower in front of a bee, they will do what bees do.
Hey Andy,
Well done for making this leap, with the right approach you will make it huge there. Just join a few likeminded successful groups to see how they run things for inspiration.
I have had a peep, looks good so far. I would highly recommend that you build comprehensive structured video courses and your intro video should set the expectations. Also, under your video, you could change the benefits to make it more persuasive, and use some pretty emojis instead of bullet points. Start with daily short posts giving bite-sized high-value tips, and disable PMs. It is a hasslle. I will join soon, just too swamped at the moment to pay attention to too many things. Once I am less busy, I will join and we could collaborate. I already have a few great ideas on how we could do this.
Awesome, I am working on my network within Skool as you say while building up content. I have a couple people I am working with right now one owns both a top 1% free community and a new paid community. We will be holding a conference call in the next day or two to talk a possible collaborative between the 3 of us and Shawn already has offered to have me on his Podcast and YouTube in early September once my affiliate program is in place. Right now I only have a hobby account so I could pre-build some courses and at 2 weeks it just doesn't make sense to start flooding the site with people. I have 18 members now, 3 found me by this post and I have barely started to build some buzz about the coming launch.
That sounds fantastic, small steps to build an empire. How did you find the other 15 members?
You should drive traffic from your YouTube channel and social media when you're ready. We also have a free and a paid community, but thinking of changing the free one to a very low-priced community to eliminate the scammers and spammers. They can be a real headache.
Once you have around 1000+ members you should have at least one or two other admins from different time zones to help you moderate and discipline the community so there is peace, harmony, and support at all times.
Most of the other members were from my networking on Skool people discover the group when looking at my profile to follow me, a big reason to start networking early and many of them have groups of their own either in the works or already launched. I have a few also in from my Kiosk Social launch team that I invited to help Beta test functions to see if Skool was a good fit. Admins wise I have 2 sons who will be the first to join the team, I plan to set this group up as a paid membership when it hits 500 members and that's not going to take long I feel when we get to marketing the pre-launch offer and introduce the related ad co-op for those with lesser promotion skills and a few more dollars to spend. I want within 6 months to have enough people in the co-op to run video ads across multiple platforms.
That is very interesting, and encouraging. It's a good strategy to help people learn about the program.
I have seen a couple nicely done websites out there that promote WA like an upsell from introductory training. This group offers ways to fund your membership once we launch so I expect it to do extremely good.
Not a problem, if you plan to start a group wait for Tuesday they have some special things planned like 90 days free for their plans and the $9 hobby groups which lack a few key features but are great for saving money during your before the launch days.

I like your post and I am just asking myself a question, how does someone who needs the money to eat will get the responsibility to make a monthly payment, the idea sounds to me a bit un sketchy.
I hope you can send me your link to the community and I would love to help it in any way.
Good luck!
