Kenny Rogers Dead at 81. Rest in Peace Gambler.
Rest in peace Kenny Rogers. Your songs delighted my family and I through over 40 year of my life and were some of the many songs I chose at Karaoke. I will always remember Islands in the Stream, The Gambler, and Coward of the County as some of my favorite hits all time.
Thanks for the Music, the good times, and the memories.

I did a tribute post on FB about this awesome guy that brought such joy into my family's life.
If anyone needs an uplifting half hour or so, google his episode on the Muppet Show!
Hi Andy,
Thanks for sharing this update about Kenny Rogers!
I was borned and reared in the Caribbean but I grew up listening to Country and Western music. Some of Kenny Rogers were some of my favorites.
Rest in peace Kenny Rogers! Thanks for the great songs and the memories we are now left with.
Thanks again Andy! Wishing you the very best!
Kind regards,
Nichola
I tried to sing islands in the streams on my karaoke app and I butchered it ( in a bad way) my husband was ready to move out of the house if I didn’t stop lol 😂
Anyway, Kenny Rogers has been one of my favorite country singers.
I remember when I was young my Aunt and her friends used to laugh and make fun of me because I couldn’t sing coward of the county.
They were further ahead in school so they could speak English, but I couldn’t. So I vowed to myself that when I am able to speak and understand more English, the coward of the county will be the first song I learn.
Once I learned the song, no one could shut me up lol 😂 RIP Kenny.

A very sad news. I grew up listening to Kenny's songs.
I love "The Gambler," "The Greatest Gift of All" and of course my all-time favorite Kenny Rogers classic "Through the Years."
Rest in peace, Kenny. You will always be remembered as one of the greatest folk and country singers of all time.
