A touch of flu but will be back soon
Just an update.
I fell short of my Points Rewards goal this month only beating last month by $10 to finish with $63 in earnings. I collected $75 cash in my PayPal from WA on the first and left some cash for another project yet to be collected.
Why did I miss?
Earlier in the month I took 5 full days off to rearrange the house and took a me day. Sort of like the tortoise and the hare I was off like the rabbit and looking to destroy my $80 goal and thought this won't hurt but those days would have come in handy when I caught this flu bug.
I can't do Vlogs right now because my voice is in terrible shape but will be back tomorrow with a post of training or two and will bring back Motivation with Andy ASAP.
In the time i have been down I have started adding courses to the pre-launch version of a new affiliate mastermind groups I am starting that will also feed into Wealthy Affiliate. I have talked many times about leveraging other people's content and the group being on Skool will leverage content of the network, findability of the search, and power of affiliates of my own to not only help build out the referrals to the systems I use and promote but also generate a stead income in a product I built from the ground up.
Right now the group is costing money as it is in development and BETA Testing, but when it launches September 16th, it should start earning in short order. My personal goal is to reach 200 members by December 31st. The potential is far greater but I figure this number will be good to call the project a success.
I have a good friend who runs another Skool Community who has a rather large social following and does a PodCast. In Early September we will do one together, my first appearance on one in nearly 15 years. This is how Word of Mouth and Combined Audience reach can propel your brand.
Basically I go on his show which we both promote and Hype my community and he includes his affiliate link for the pre-launch offering. It is a huge win for both of us as he will get an exclusive, it will have huge viral potential, and I will get my name known to a new audience that he has built over the years.
Is anyone else on her experienced with Skool? I would love to network with more creators and group owners as well as connect with affiliates in the system. I want this project to grow rapidly.

Despite your setbacks, you did well in general. Did you know that Skool has a new Hobby plan for $9? It has access to almost all the features of the Pro plan, with a higher transaction fee, and just one or two other differences. However, if you already have a custom domain, it's best to stay on the Pro plan.

I'm on Hobby for the build out but will upgrade before my launch to offer an affiliate program for it which is the main drawback to Hobby.
What affiliate program are you planning to offer? As soon as my new Skool community's online courses are done, we could discuss business. I don't know how you want to collaborate, but I'm sure there are plenty of ways.

Hey Andy,
Sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather, sounds like the universe hit you with a double whammy between the flu and a “me day” (sometimes those breaks choose us, not the other way around!). You’ve got a great attitude about the whole thing, and $63 is still a solid month, especially considering everything you had going on.
Your new mastermind project sounds like an exciting next step, and I’m really interested to see how Skool works for building out a community, especially with your affiliate approach and the podcast collaboration lined up. That’s a smart way to cross-pollinate audiences and create some buzz right out of the gate.
I haven’t used Skool myself, but I’d love to hear how the beta phase goes and what you learn along the way. Always up for hearing how others are building their own communities!
