My First Year With Wealthy Affiliate.
A year has already gone by. I joined Wealthy Affiliate twelve months ago and it has been one of the most profitable years in my whole online career which started back in 2001, perhaps not financially yet, but considering what I have learned during the past 12 months is definitely my most valuable year.
- I learned how to create quality websites and monetise them, which was the number one reason why I joined Wealthy Affiliate for. I built many websites in the past, but never understood why they were not profitable... now I know, finally!
- I learned how to work with and help fellow members without any thought of gaining anything in exchange, apart from having the pleasure to have helped someone, whether they are on my team or not.
Why, why, WHY, didn't I join Wealthy Affiliate when I first came across it years ago? Instead of going from opportunity to opportunity? I do not know, but looking back, I can say, it was the bigest mistake I made, but, as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said: “By seeking and blundering we learn.”
Soon after joining as a Starter Member I realised the value of this amazing program and I needed to upgrade to benefit fully from my membership, and, as "Rome was not built in a day", I would also need time to learn everything I needed to know, so I took advantage of the special offer for the yearly subscription, which brought the cost of my membership way down, and I am glad I did that.
Problem is that I am still earning a fair amount of money from other businesses I have created, which takes time to maintain, and I cannot just close the revenue tap at once, I must gradually build up my income from Wealthy Affiliate and reduce my envolvement in other businesses. This is my target for this year and I am very confident that it will happen.
I am so grateful to Kyle and Carson for having put together such a fantastic training program, and to all the members who are freely sharing their knowledge with us, either by answering to our calls for help, writing a blog post, or creating a tutorial. I am not listing names as they are thousands of them, but I say thank you to them all!
John, from the south of France!

It’s great to know that seasoned marketers can also see the benefit of the training here at WA. It’s not just for total newbies.
Thanks for sharing.
With Grace and Gratitude

Seeing so many already successful entrepreneurs joining is one of the reasons why I stuck at Wealthy Affiliate. There must be a good reason for that, and they are the people we can learn from.
Cheers Karen!

Thanks so much Becky and I wish you the very best too, as you have also completed your first year not very long ago.
Hi Yourbiztips,
And Rome was not built in a day as you mentioned above in your post. Actually, that’s one of my favourite sayings, lol. It’s taken me one year to figure out that Wealthy Affiliate is the place to create a future. Now that I trust - it’s much easier to move forward.
I’ve just started writing content and Wealthy Affiliate is home to me, lol.
The best of success to you and I enjoyed your post.
Kindly,
Becky
