How do you get promotional banners to work on your website, to be fully functionable?

Just to add, if you're including Embed codes in Pages or Posts, they must be Published, not in Draft mode for you to be able to see them. :)

On mine, I can only put them on the right side or at the bottom of my page.
I'm not sure if it's the template i used or if there are settings.
I can tell you what I've done so far.
For the ones at the side I went into widgets, and then dragged the "text" button over to where i wanted it. A menu opens up where you can paste the banner codes into.
The top of it you can add a title if you wish, but with banners you don't really need to.
Then you just put each "text" or banner in the order you want them to show on your page. Don't forget to save each one.
Good luck.

You should be able to put them anywhere in a post or page. Open the "Edit" for the post in question, ensure the tab at the top of the edit box is set to "Text" NOT "Visual", and paste the code where you want it. Switch back to Visual to check it before updating the post. Voila!

There's no reason why this wouldn't work, as html is the Internet standard encoding, and is universal across web sites.

You advice is spot on regarding widgets.
