It's about a week before Thanksgiving and the panic sets in. So much cleaning, preparing and shopping to do. Not to mention perfecting our niche sites for the holiday shoppers. Below is my check list of priorities to do before the frenzy begins. I can't do it all, so I have to make the best use of limited time. Preparing my site is similar to preparing my home for the upcoming holidays.

Clean Your Site Pages

• Start with the page that gets the most traffic.
• Analyze your analytics - Which pages are most popular?
• Read and spend a few minutes improving those pages.

Remove the Clutter

• Remove the ads that are not relevant to the page.
• Check your product ads - are the products still available?

Decorate

• Make your site look more festive.
• Are the colors comfortable?
• Is the font easy to read?
• Add a few new photos or an youtube video.

Send Out the Invites

• Facebook, Google +, Linkedin, Pinterest and emails.
• Nobody will come if they don't know your having a party.

Create Your Plan

• Write out your list
• Start taking action

Take Care of Yourself

• Get plenty of rest and eat nourishing foods.
• Enlist the help of others if you can.

Enjoy the Occasion

Sit back and enjoy the holidays when they arrive. You did your best.
