I started to write in Word and when I went to copy it to the Blog page it would flash what I copied but not copy it... If I have to rewrite it then I'm going to sleep!!!!??? T

I agree with Oliver all the best

I do that occasionally also.

sleep? jk...

Lol, now rewrite it...but I do sleep occasionally. Lol.

If you are using Firefox then paste your text by using CTRL+V.

No, IE... which I'm find just how little it has grown in some areas... Thank you... :-)

That's how I write everything. I use my blogs in both Chrome and Firefox and I never have a problem. I wish I knew a magic method, but I don't. It's a simple copy and paste.

I think that is the magic method, use anything except IE... The simple copy and past, even in raw text wasn't working either... but moving to Chrome...

It might depend on a browser. I also have an non-commercial blog on Blogger (owned by Google) and when I paste an article written in Word (Microsoft) to editor opened in Internet Explorer (Microsoft) it keeps all the formatting, but also adds a lot of 'behind the scene' code to your page, so it will take more time to load. When I paste to Chrome (Google) it removes all formatting.

Thanks Oliver... yes... Microsoft doesn't seem to be friendly... moving to Chrome... appreciate it! :-)

Morning Yesi
I hope you slept well? : -). In answer to your question, Davelington has posted a very informative wordpress link, below, for you. That should solve the problem for you. Live long and prosper!

My King... thank you for the thought, I slept so fast it felt like a nap... A lot of good information for one little solution... move to Chrome! LOL... learning lessons for sure...thank you... :-)

You have to copy in plain text, click the little clip board on the tools, then you get a warning, say oke, and paste, success, Loes

Unfortunately that didn't work... seems the problem is simply the browser... Funny thing is my husband is always on me to use Chrome and I'm stuck in the 90s with a loyalty to Microsoft that is senseless... another GREAT lesson learned.. love it!!! Moving to Chrome... done! :-)

I cannot understand why you would have problems. The text and format may change, but you should be able to copy the words without difficulty. Hope Dave's link helps out.

I do... because I'm stubborn and one of the lessons I'm learning in this lifetime no doubt is letting go... even though I swore I was a really flexible person, it's a matter of control... LOL... ok, now that I gave you this whole psychological explanation for my shortcoming, it's simple... use Chrome! Thanks for your input. Info overload. :-)

Dave... that was great.... I especially like reading she enjoys judging beer competitions... but nothing was working last night... for whatever the whacky digital world is, Chrome made it all appear... I probably needed to STOP for the night too... maybe it was there and I just didn't see it... or know about it for that matter. Hmm... Thank you Thank you... way more alert today.

Any time! :)
