Sometimes You Just Need to Re-group

It has been a while since I have posted here in WA, so I thought I'd take a moment to come in and share a few thoughts with you today.

It's been a very busy few months for me. This summer brought some family ups and downs, relocation, etc. When so many things start happening in my life, I just needed to step back, re-group and collect my thougths about a lot of things.

We all may need to do that from time to time. And that's okay. Re-grouping is not a bad thing. It's a way to really step back and take a look at what's going on around you.

POSITIVITY
Many of you may know that I have coined myself the "POSITIVITY QUEEN". I love being positive and spreading positivity. When there are negative things going on around me, I always try to find the positives.

To me, llfe is just too short to do otherwise.

I like doing things to make others feel good. Why? Because when I do something to make someone else feel good - that makes ME feel great! I have talked about making people smile before....that is who I have always been.

ARE MY SITE VISITORS SMILING?
So, I decided to take that same stance with my website. Just as I want people in my real life to smile, I also want my site visitors to be able to smile and enjoy their site experience. That is definitely a key factor in this business.

Some things started happening around my site menu so that's when I reviewed my analytics and realized people must have not been smiling or very happy with their experience. I realized I needed to make some changes because when I took a hard look at my analytics, I didn't like what I saw.

MAKING DECISIONS
I have to tell you in all honesty, I was at my wits end when I initially took that hard look at my sites. I was really struggling with some decisions around all of this. I wasn't sure exactly what I needed to do or which direction I needed to take.

One thing led to another and I became totally frustrated.

The only thing I could think of to do was start asking questions.

A HUGE THANKS
Those of you who received a PM from me (or in some cases, SEVERAL PM's from me) to get your input, I thank you for taking the time to help me. You truly made a difference!

When I say this community is awesome, I sincerely mean it.

The help, opinions and answers I received made the difference in the direction I was going and the decisions I made.

Between the answers I was getting from my WA family and the training, I started feeling better. One day, as I was working on my site, it really started coming together. I started understanding what I needed to do...it all started clicking...my a-ha moment. YAY!

I am feeling better about the direction my site is heading in and the main thing - my analytics have gotten better. YES!

IT'S OKAY TO RE-GROUP
You will see from my experience, it is okay to step back every once in a while to analyze things, take a deep breath and re-group if you need it.

The main thing is if you get stuck, seek assistance. Let people in this community know you need help. People won't know you need help unless you ask! Please keep that in mind as you move forward.

Remember this - there may be days of frustration ahead for you, but help is around the corner - if you decide to use it.

I truly hope this has helped someone and/or made someone smile.
