Life Punched Me In The Gut
Without getting into specific details about what happened this past weekend, an event took place and I felt as though I had been punched in the gut. My husband and I went to visit a very ill relative and we see her slowly slipping away from us. She has always been so encouraging and she has a wonderful heart. Always giving and caring and I always enjoyed talking with her through the years. It is very heartbreaking but because of the circumstances around this visit, so many thoughts crossed my mind.
One thought that came to my mind was a quote I had read some time ago from British actress, model and humanitarian, Audrey Hepburn, who stated "Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I'm possible."
I really like that quote because I know that I continue to do things in my life that states I'm possible. For example, I was once told by a very bitter and negative family member that I would never be happy, never find love, and never have children. Well, I have all of those things. I'm possible. At one point in my life, I was married, had two small children, working toward my MBA while working full-time (and by the way - that job was paying for my education 100% !) Half-way through my graduate program, I got laid off due to downsizing. I then found myself at a fork in the road. Do I get another job right away and quit the graduate program or bite the bullet financially and remain full-time in the program? I decided to stay in the program and received my MBA with a high GPA. I'm possible. I have had many battles throughout my lifetime and I came through it because I'm possible. This current situation is no different - I will get through this as well.
Another thought that crossed my mind was that along my life's journey, I have been uncomfortable in situations and have had to definitely function outside my comfort zone. It reminds me of being here in Wealthy Affiliate. I have never built a website, been involved with any kind of marketing or done anything with an on-line business. Yet, here I am. So it reminded me of a saying I have heard many, many times:
"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten.If you want something you've never had, you must do something you've never done."
So between the quote and the saying, I figured it out - I'm in the right place at the right time. (Was that my a-ha moment?)
I am here to encourage each and every one of you to stay the course. Sometimes you may be uncomfortable as you progress through this WA journey - and that is ok. There is an entire community here to assist you, so take advantage of that. Keep telling yourself "I'm possible"....because YOU ARE!

Words of great encouragement. Anything is possible and by confirming to ourselves that I am possible are strong words that can take us far. "I am..." is another term I use frequently.
"I am successful"
"I am strong"
"I am healthy"
"I am happy"
"I am....."
