International Day of Peace
Anyone who knows me well, also knows I call myself the POSITIVITY QUEEN. I am the poster child for positivity in all aspects of my life - especially in my social media life. There is just so much negativity in the world, sometimes I just can't stand it. So that is when I close my social media down and do something else that I enjoy - just to get away.
Today is a perfect day for me, though. It's the International Day of Peace. I wrote on my social media "It's International Day of Peace. Spread hope and love, not hate." It fits me and who I am because I am like that everyday anyway. In my mind, everyone should seek peace - everyday. It's too stressful to do otherwise. Isn't it? I mean, what is the point of seeking negativity? It's confusion, turmoil, chaos. There is already enough of that anyway without someone SEEKING it.
So find refuge in knowing that there are still many peaceful souls in the world, like myself, who want to be positive, who seek peace. Don't get me wrong - I'm not SO positive that I can't HANDLE negativity. Goodness knows I have had so much negativity in my life that I could write forever. I just CHOOSE to seek the positive in the negative when it comes my way.
One thing I will say is that Wealthy Affiliate fits into my positivity plan very well. The community here is so peaceful because it is positive, caring, and helpful. Sometimes when I close my social media down to get away from the world, I actually come right here to WA. Thank you, WA!

This is a top 10 post in my opinion because it speaks to society's ills. Unfortunately in today's climate splattered throughout the media, we're saturated with hatred. So I tend to trust the Lord ro get me through the day; which qualifies for a day of peace. If 1/2 of the world would get this, we'd be a better people. Peace.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I so appreciate it. I TOTALLY agree with you because I do the same thing as you and I also have a circle of positive people around me. They help me as well. We all need to find whatever it is that helps us navigate through the negativity and gravitate toward that.

What a wonderful outlook!! We all need to strive to be more like you.
I try every day to see only the positive, but sometimes I fall short of this goal. But, I am still trying!!

Happy International Day of Peace to you too. I am impressed of this post as I am already reading a book about peace and how to transfer obstacles into positive actions to keep peace and self satisfaction. I also agree that WA is a positive community in relative to social media which I recently deal with it only as business since I realized that it is more of destructive than constructive when it comes to relationships and private life.
