Anti-Virus Security and Pasting Affiliate Links
For several days now I have been having problems being able to cut and paste my affiliate link onto my website. I asked other WA members and finally site support. Everyone tried, but no one could help me. I watched the lesson video that explained the process again and again, taking careful notes to make sure I was conducting each step perfectly. I even went to the affiliate site and manually typed in the shortened link address of my product and it worked! But why couldn't I paste it? It was very frustrating.
I then explained the problem I was having to my husband who is technically savvy. He went into my computer system and walked through the steps with me and figured out what was going on. It was my anti-virus security that was preventing me from pasting the link on to my site! FINALLY, the answer I needed. So now, I turn off a certain security only as I am pasting links. After I am finished, I make sure and turn those particular securities on again so my anti-virus works as it should protecting my computer. It may seem a little cumbersome, but at least I can cut and paste my affiliate links and still be protected!
I wanted to share this information in case others run into this problem in the future.

Alas . . . I am too new to give such advice, but I do believe the secret has something to do with the use of keywords? The proper use of keywords ensures that people who are looking for an answer to the problem you have addressed find your answer. Wish I could be of more help, but I have soooo much to learn myself!!

Thank you for the encouragement. I am a newbie as well so I can definitely understand. Yes, key words are definitely important and I am hoping by putting certain words in the title will help someone looking for answers.
