Surprised No One Is Talking About Pexels!
Every website needs stock images to make them more attractive to your viewers. I've been using Google Image search and filtering by usage rights. I've also been using other sites like Pixabay (https://pixabay.com/) and StockSnap.io (https://stocksnap.io).
One site that I just came across is Pexels (https://www.pexels.com) and I'm loving it! They have a great collection of photos free to use on your site without attribution. I'm just surprised I didn't find it sooner and surprised no one is talking about it!
They are licensed under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license. This means the pictures are completely free to be used for any legal purpose.
- The pictures are free for personal and even for commercial use.
- You can modify, copy and distribute the photos.
- All without asking for permission or setting a link to the source. So that attribution is not required.
Another cool thing about them is that they even have free videos (https://videos.pexels.com/). I personally haven't used them yet but maybe it'll be useful for someone.
Maybe some of you already know about it but when I put it int he search up top, nothing came up so I decided to share this site with you guys. I already started using some of their photos in my posts and they are high resolution and high quality images.
Anyway, add it to your list!
What other awesome free stock photo sites are you guys using? Let me know in the comments.
That's it for now.
Wish you all success!
