Hi Guys,

This is the reply I get from https://www.whynopadlock.com/results/74b18fbe-ffc3-47ad-9a8f-0764d845cb21 How can I correct this, and how?

ALL SECURE NOW!

Thanks for all your help in this matter. It appears to have been a glitch along the line. But thankfully its all been sorted now.

Thanks to DynamicDave & NewMarketPro

Marc - Bristol.UK.

That is brilliant news.

Are you trying to test something on your website?

How did you get that error message? I believe more information is required here...

Joe

I am trying to place a WooCommerce Shop on my website. However, they say that my SSL cert maybe out of date, I have been in touch with support, all seems OK there.

Search me as to how the error message came about, Support send a link through which I followed and when I got there this is what I saw.

Marc

Regarding the images with a http prefix, the reference to them needs to be changed to https inside of WP. Or change the reference to use the WP shorthand for "this site".

See the attached image.

Personally I prefer the WP shorthand for "this site".

Thanks for your help here Dave. Let's see if this works out

Thanks

Just know that what I outlined will fix the mixed content errors where the image is taken from an http URL.

You have a protocol error as noted.

You currently have TLSv1 enabled.
This version of TLS is being phased out. This warning won't break your padlock, however if you run an eCommerce site, PCI requirements state that TLSv1 must be disabled by June 30, 2018.

That might be important if you are trying to run an eCommerce site.

Something I learn today. Thanks

You are welcome.

Thanks for asking your question to @xposeitall
He has sent me a PM and I have replied.
In a nutshell, his answer to your question helped.

Part of my reply included: (I am putting this up because this information might help other WA members in the future or some other WA member might already know the answer)

I suggested that he go back to how he got the "error" in the first place and ensure that it is a "real error". A screenshot of that "error" might help, however I am not familiar with putting up a WooCommerce Shop so I can not really help however other WA members might be able to.

(Hey, I am putting up a WooCommerce Shop on my site and I am getting this error. See attached screenshot. )

I don't know if the protocol "error" really affects you, because you got that when doing something else.
