Family Passing

Family passing. We all know that we are headed the same direction and will end up where our lives lead us. Last night we lost a dear Aunt in our birth city. She passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. Having dealt with cancer without brother in 2010, I know that this is devastating and hard to handle. This illness is serious business and does not hold back for anyone.

After many years of traveling to our hometown during the holidays or spring breaks, we would always, as a family, visit our Uncle and Aunts bakery to catch up,and well enjoy some freshly baked pastries, to which they would generously provide us. Along with a cold Coke and that was absolute delight to me and my 8 brothers and sisters. I will always be grateful for what they did for us and will always keep them close to our memories.

If you are ever in or near this type of situation, take time to recognize that we are all in this world for only a short time, making the most out of each and every day must be at the top of our lists of to does than anything else that happens. Embrace those family members as often as possible that are near to each one of you. You will be glad you did.

Peace

My condolences.

My prayers are with you and your family, and your message is one that needs to be remembered!

So sorry for your loss. Your message is so true, yet many choose to ignore it. Problem is that it can often be too late when the message is realised. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Hudson

I'm so sorry for your loss.

So sorry, May God give you and your family comfort and peace. - Shirley

I am very sorry to hear of your loss, Xavier.
We truly must make the most of those that are dear to us when they are alive. Her memories will live with you all forever. Take comfort in that somehow.

All the best in the midst of this temporary storm.

David

We lost a 91 year old uncle last week. Even though at that age it wasn't a surprise, I'm grateful that we had spoken with him earlier in the week by chance.

You are right, family is special and deserves to be treasured, always.

Sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing, those are wise words, we can’t bring anything with us after death but the memories of our life time. So it’s best to have good ones and the best are always went we felt part of something and with someone.
Take care and sending you happy thoughts here.

I am very sorry for you loss you will be in my thought and prayers.
You have it right when you say this sickness can hit anyone. I have one of my kids best friends fighting it right now. He is only 21 and has a little 2 year old boy. I have never had to face this until him. And let me tell you it was yet another reminder to not take anything for granite.
Bless you and your family.

Very true. Thank you for your kind words. I too will keep y all in our prayers.

Thank you and you are welcome
