I've seen quite a few times where starter members love WA but claim they can't afford to upgrade because of financial issues. I get it, times are tough! Then there are some of you that feel Wealthy Affiliate is too expensive. If that's you, read this article here for clarification on the premium membership fee.

But for everyone else that sees the value of WA and needs help with upgrading, here are some ways to get the money to upgrade:

1. Watch Some YouTube Videos

So obviously the best way to make money online is to build a passive income with affiliate marketing which is what WA is teaching you here. But if you don't have the money to invest in yourself at the moment, you can try to make money other ways. Now the key here is to take the money that you make elsewhere and re-invest in yourself by buying a premium membership here.

Fortunately I cover a lot of great ways to make money online on my Youtube Channel that can pay for your premium membership. My most popular money making YouTube videos can be found by clicking here. Remember most of these things will require you trading in time for money. That shouldn't be your goal and I know it's not if you're here. Take whatever money you make from these opportunities and reinvest them here where that money can lead to thousands of dollars in passive income for you in time!

    2. Sell some of your old "JUNK" on Craigslist, Ebay or Amazon.

If you have old cds, cell phones, tvs, gadgets, clothes, toys, furniture, etc., there is probably someone out there that is willing to pay for it. It's like the saying goes, one man's junk is another man treasure! If not your junk, what about your family members or friends? Offer to clean out their garage or attic. You'd be surprised all the things you can find that can be sold online. Plus you'll get some brownie points for helping them! lol

    3. Do some small online jobs on Amazon Mechanical Turk.

Most people know Amazon for shopping. But did you know they have a work at home section called mechanical turk where you can get paid for transcription, image tagging, data entry, writing articles, reviews and much more? Depending on the hits (jobs) you do, within a week or two you would probably have enough to pay for a month of WA! Best of all, while you're learning to build a business here on WA, you can make some money on the side with Amazon. So instead of having Amazon making money off you, make some money on off them and re-invest in yourself here at WA!

    4. Review what you're currently spending money on & get to slicing!

Chances are you have a cable package where you don't even use all the channels you're paying for. Seriously, when was the last time you really watched the Indy network? Or maybe you have a cell phone plan where you have more minutes or data than you actually use per month. What about all that expensive ass coffee you buy from Starbucks? I guarantee if you really started to review your spending, there are numerous places where you can cut back and you would have enough to pay for your WA membership every month.

How much is your freedom and happiness really worth?

A premium membership is less than $2 per day and even cheaper if you can pay the year upfront.

Aren't your dreams and freedom worth more than that? What about your family? Isn't spending more time with them or giving them a life better than you had worth the sacrifice of less than $2 per day? I think when you view it like that, you'll be able to figure it out.

Again I understand how hard it is for some of us out there, so I don't want to minimize that. But sometimes we just don't have our priorities in order. Next time you spend money on something, I want you to ask yourself is this necessary and is it bringing me closer to my dreams? If you do that, I'm sure you'll soon find that you can afford a premium membership here at WA.

    5. Ask A Family Member or Friend for A loan!

Fortunately starting an online business with WA is relatively cheap compared to starting an offline business which can cost several thousand or hundreds of thousands of dollars. With WA you can actually run your business for less than $2 per day if you go yearly which is only a few hundred dollars. It actually saves you money if you pay the year upfront since WA gives you a bigger discount for committing to yourself.

If you can borrow some money from one or more family members and friends to invest in you, to get a yearly membership that could help you focus on your business without worrying about a monthly cost.

Either way, let your family or friend lenders know its a long term investment and you will pay them back in time as you make money with your business. Just make sure you're not borrowing money from someone that needs to see that money back right away. Because this business isn't a get rich scheme and you don't want to feel pressured to rush the process which is like a marathon. Slow and easy win the race.

What are you going to do?

So hopefully this article gives you a few options. Don't let obstacles get in the way of the freedom you deserve. In my experience when people really want something bad enough they will find ways to pay for it. Your dreams are worth more than excuses. So hopefully you see it that way. But if you can't do it, that's fine too. Do whatever is best for you.

But let me leave you with the following quote:

Let that marinate in your mind. Let me know your thoughts below. I would love to hear from you. Or feel free to share this with anyone you may have run into that isn't able to "afford" WA.

Thank you so much for this cause its tighter then tight. I'm going to look into it right away cause I gotta move forward some how. Thank you for caring. I've been homeless and trying not to again but when I make it to be a blessing to others I certainly will. I'm determined to do well so I can bless others. Thank you.

Youre very welcome Linda. You have to do what is best for you.

    Hey LC,
also look at EasyShift, and other apps you can do from a phone.
you could search work from home apps or maybe check app store on your phone.
    best of luck

Amen, Sister. You can and will make it. I'm praying for your and my success with this. We can do it!!!!

This is a really great post. I really want to upgrade to yearly, but being a student I'm not in the financial position. If only it was possible to pay it per day, and it wouldn't seem like such a huge amount to pay in one go haha! I hadn't heard of Amazon's mechanical turk so I'm definitely going to look into that.
Thanks for the advice as always!
    Sophie

I'm glad you found it useful.

Thank you so much.. This is all amazing... I thank you all... Unfortunately, In my case I need to cancel quickly to ensure that my friend gets his money bk so he can get his medication.. If i was relieved of that troubled area, i could further work on coming up with my own money to pay for my June premium amount due.. I'm in a tough situation as I'm trying to come up with money for him.. Since i don't know how long or if he will be reimbursed, i have faith due to WA and Kyle and Carson are great caring and trustworthy people, as i feel and see in there work and much effort to train and help millions growing to billions, in no time in sure.. WA kicks ass.. Can I say that, oops i mean kicks butt...
Unfortunately This is a life or dear situation for my friend as his meds are important as all are I don't mean to make him any more important than anyone whom takes meds to get through their illnesses.. I want to say that i am so amazed at all the effort and time as well as the compassion and such to help us all out here ways to keep our membership here at WA ... I thank WA again.... i would almost do anything to be able to stay and grow with WA... So since ifs almost anything that means that I'm going to try these to hopefully be able to re start a membership if that's allowed asap.... i believe in WA i am still promoting the company even if I'm not a member i actually just told 3 people while watching this and reading this great info..
    Thanks again,
    Miss Tcup

Those are some excellent tips! and would you suggest buying a domain at that time or wait--I'm trying to organize how to do all this and I'd really appreciate your feedback and thanks in advance! Oh yeah--I've already finished phase 1 of bootcamp and the getting started and want to go premium 5/5/17

I'm glad you like them. Don't buy a domain name until you really pick the right type of niche. I discuss how to do that here:

Thank you for your feed and your article was very helpful. I total agree and the niche I chose I've been doing for years. The money aspect is a great reason to keep going, but you gotta love what u do. I'm actually having fun and learning at the same time. Thanks again and best wishes!!

    You're welcome Deborah

This is so accurate. I am actually cutting of my cable this week. That will free up $120 a month, something that is definitely not going to help me reach my dreams any sooner. That's how serious I am about this. We all have unnecessary expenses and prioritizing is definitely key here.

I'm so happy this resonated with you Cilver and you're taking action. Because far too often people are making excuses rather doing what they need to do.

Do to my disability & my finances , I'm really forced to leave WA. My disability is lack of memory, from the two times of dying in the past, yea it was bad times. Also I'm sure I will be closing my bank account before next month unless I sale my scooter by then and I kind of doubt it. I really can't afford paying anymore overdraft fee's like I have. And it's really not at my doing, It's unexpected payment that I forgot. I have thought about moving back to Calf. were I would receive alot more disability money. Only thing is I have no family there anymore. I didn't finish my website because of my memory and if anyone wants it they can have it. I'm sorry I did not mean to waste anyone anything. I hope all my friends here at WA understands ! THANK YOU ALL Robin Taylor P.S you can find me on F.B. under Rob Taylor

Sorry to hear that Robin. I hope things get better soon.

One step at a time on this thing. Def don't let it take over your day or let the massive amounts of info people are more than willing to shove your way confuse you. S!ow and steady is best and if it gets too overwhelming I put it on the back burner. Its not paying my bills yet so I don't treat it like it is.
Maybe someday but not right now..

Interesting thing. I've received lately a LOT and I mean a LOT of mails related to "how", "why", "what", "why not" and so on from WA! Take this, make that, why don't etc. The ONLY reason at this moment I lastly joined (at least for the first month) this community is because I wanted to post this comment! I am however, ALWAYS very careful in regard to "internet" and people I don't know and never met face to face! I don't trust them until I am convinced of the contrary. So, basically, my points on short terms WHY I am not convinced YET that WA is a "gold mine" for me.

    1. THE MASSIVE and AGGRESSIVE amount of mails! This tactic reminds me of a similar one from the WW 2. This is the MAIN REASON I didn't join until now! Basically, I do agree with most of the points, BUT (always has to be a BUT - only 1) some of them are simply out of reach (my personal opinion). Explanation: 0,83 ¢/day is nothing. I agree. BUT, try to pay 100K$ once, instead of ten years, every moth only 30$. Think twice.

    2. To join WA community, I need first to understand WHAT I am learning. How the system work. How do I get learned. What I'll be able to do in 6 month time. Will I be smarter than before? Will I be able to go forth and build a business? Can this become a life from now on? And so on ...

    3. Let me clear state this (my personal statement): it's not about the 19$/month or 49 or 299/y!!! I can afford that! It's about IF THAT AMOUNT can bring me to a whole new way of life where I have no clue about it! Where I have no knowledge, no expertise, no skills. Will I become skilled paying that amount? Worth it paying for? Yes, I'm a newbie regarding advertising and affiliate marketing! I have no clue about it. But, I am eager to learn, exactly how I learned by myself to manage a whole server, installing and maintaining it, how I got skilled with web apps, how I got experienced with a lot of things. And yes, I have a journalist degree (audio-video media) and also many trainings and formations in Quality Management! Which actually, is my actual job (automotive).

I felt like I needed to write all these thoughts down because I don't trust a system I don't understand (at the beginning).

Apologies for any inconveniences caused by and for my bad english. Unfortunately, is not my natural/mother language.

    Regards,
    Alex

I agree with you, paying the yearly fee in one time is still a lot of money. I do think this site has a lot to offer so I might come back later, but for now I have to spend my time on some other things and be a bit careful with my money. Thanks for the insightful comment :-)

I've been an active eBay seller for over 15 years. I know it can sometimes be overwhelming for beginners just as WA can be to new community members.

I will gladly help anyone out with questions if they need it. I am familiar with both domestic and international selling. So please ...If you have questions...please don't hesitate. There is a FB for eBay sellers as well. They answer questions and give advice also.

We all want to succeed at what we do...so utilize someone else's experiences to save yourself some time and headaches.
Just as I'm sure I will utilize the experienced Affiliates here at WA.

I can definitely use the help selling on ebay. My aunt revamps furniture and has a ton of clothes. any advice would be welcome

You guys should private message each other once you've become premium members to discuss this further.

I would like to stay on as a free member and come back when I get through this crisis and I do mean crisis. Left breast lump and knee replacement needed for bone on bone knee. I wrote what was supposed to be a funny blog about how painful mammograms are. Not so funny anymore! Please let me remain as free to catch a lesson when I can and work on my website when I can. I even bought my own domain. I was dedicated now I just don't have the time but most of all I dont have the money.

    Hey Kelly,

Sorry to hear about all the health issues. You definitely need to focus on your health before anything else. First thing, I don't control your membership. You need to contact Kyle and Carson for that. Secondly you can't revert back to free. You can leave and sign up as a premium member again when you're ready. You just need to confirm what happens to your site with Kyle. I hope this helps.

Hope all goes well for you considering the circumstances. My prayers will be with you and yours!
