I mean, I am glad it is.. But what is this mean?
Congrats! Keep up the good work!
It means people can find your website when searching in google using keywords. Also the higher your ranking the higher your page will be on the search list.
people will find your site when they search the internet, such as using keywords found in your site.
Hey Woori,
Perhaps you mean "indexed" rather than "ranked"?
If so, this post will help explain this best: http://jm-seotips.org/2013/04/what-does-indexed-mean-in-terms-of-google-search-and-seo/
On which page it appears, and it's listing number, in Google search results. The higher the better as most people don't tend to stray beyond a page or two of results.
If I knew that, I'd be richer than Neil Patel ;) And for as much money as Patel's made off of promoting himself as knowing the answer, he doesn't either.
On a serious note, the path to page one is a combination of implementing basic SEO best practices, longevity of your site and article engagement... and the 1,000 other things Google applies in its ranking algorithm that no one knows about.
In short, write (a lot of) good articles based on some basic keyword research and a few rules of SEO and let the chips fall where they may,
Maybe my latest post can help.
I explain how I ranked on number 1 position in Google with my latest post Ranked Number 1 in Google! How did I do it?
The key is you want to get ranked with a keyword or phrase. For instance I focused on the keyword phrase 'blogging tips for newbies' If I type that phrase in Yahoo or Bing I can see its in the top five positions sometimes on the first page. If I type the same phrase in Google I see my site is on the first page now. Its ta!end me a year to do this but its by constantly writing content with relevant keywords. Hope that helps.
