I have never written a recipe before and I just make them as I go along but my friend suggested that since I buy and eat a lot of organic, I should post what I prepare. I know tas
I'd possibly remove Simple Organic Homemade Recipes entirely and just use the name of the recipe...or come up with something else as an add on. This works so well with your site that Simple Organic Homemade Recipes would probably become a new category.
Great Idea Chris. Thanks. I wanted to make that as a title and category. I can see how this is probably too much repetition
I like the way you present it, I only would advice you to make your title "ORGANIC SALAD WITH WILD SALMON – SIMPLE ORGANIC HOMEMADE RECIPES not in capital characters, for this type it is difficult to read, I really like it written as Thanks Organic in italic, success! Loes
I recommend that you ask TheOldSilly. He is a successful WA member who has a recipe site. here is a link to his profile page

Is posting recipes as part of a review a bad idea?

I've noticed a few post addressed to other people in my inbox. I usually just ignore them. The strangest though has been a response I got from this woman profile name MarineMom.
My opinion: by putting up a post you are inviting people to agree or not agree with your opinion.
I have no idea if your comment was rude or not but I think I would have kept the communication private instead of creating this post.
I had the temerity to disagree with one very vocal member on one of his posts which was anti-Semitic and he deleted my comment. He lost my respect over that - I no longer read his posts.

I suggest you might try to contact her directly instead of making this public? Seems like something you and she should resolve; if it is misdirected messaging, then contact support.
I'm still new at this but just throwing out a thought based on no more than a guess that you may have responded on a post/question/blog that this offender also posted on?

Has anyone received other peoples posts?

Oh my God! This is painful! I'm not used to designing websites using WordPress. I use Dreamweaver/HTML. This looks more like a blogging tool, not a template for designing websi
Hi Wombat, I felt the same when I started using WP. Though this is rather an old post, I just want to mention that there is the possibility of doing it the old way too: in "Appearance" you have an editor where you can edit the code. But it's php, not html, so the tags are a little different. The same works for "Plugins", that category has an editor as well. I used to copy the code to my dreamweaver, edit it and copy the new code back into the relevant WP file. But maybe you got used to WP in the meantime and don't need this info any more.
Thank you so much for reaching out Ulrike. I do appreciate knowing that I have this option. Even while working with Dreamweaver, I always liked the flexibility of being able to edit my html code. Having to learn WP and all its features actually slowed me down a little bit, but it is all for the best because I'm going to be using these new skills for a long time. This is actually very useful to know. I will try to play around with the code in my Dreamweaver to see how I can improve on my site - once I've set everything up. Much appreciated:))
It is more of a blogging tool. If you go through the training it teaches you how to input your content. First create your pages and then put you content in the pages. You can make a page or pages your product page and then put the information about the product on that page.
Thanks Terell. Kinda disappointed :( I didn't know WA was using WordPress templates. I'm not a fun. I prefer the odd fashioned way of designing websites
No problem. I kinda like them myself and I'm starting to see results. But to each his own. Hope you succeed anyway!
