Hello, while browsing some of your content I found quite a few links did not work. Especially in this page: http://howtolegitimatelymakemoneyonline.com/affilorama-review-many-upsells

Strange I just tried the link and it worked. Where did you try it on the website?

Strange I just tried the link and it worked. Where did you try it on the website?

Thanks for the feedback I will get this fixed.

the link to the website works fine, but the links inside the post are not working for me. I get an error that says, "Not found, error 404
The page you are looking for no longer exists. Perhaps you can return back to the site's homepage and see if you can find what you are looking for. Or, you can try finding it with the information below".
Maybe it's on my end. I'm not really sure.

Okay cool I will check it now...thanks.

Great article. I had no idea this was going on, but I'm not surprised.

There are new scams every minute of every day. Hopefully people read this and it doesn't happen to them.

There's an issue with the sentence here "Sites auction sites like Flippa"

But other than that, it was a very powerful post. I too got duped by a clone site...not that long ago. It maybe was a bit different than what you bought, but a similar story.

I can't believe those flippa guys are so shady. Anyway, it's a good post. You should do more about Flippa. Something like "Flippa Scam Exposed". Check keywords for this.

One suggestion I have is to expand the section about building a legitimate website. People might not know how easy it is, so you can explain more about that. You can also talk about how a site with all duplicate content is starting your business with one foot in the grave.

Also, I probably wouldn't use two links there so close together. You can have two links on the page, but right next to each other kind of defeats the purpose.

Thanks Nathaniell,
I will be tweaking the post a bit more tonight and expand like you said.

Excellent feedback just what I need.

I am trying to make a comparison table for one of my websites.

I can do it with a standard table but I was looking for a better looking one perhaps a plugin and something

BTW you can also see if the Thrive Plugin does comparison charts, I know they have some cool features.

Hi Nathaniell. Im trying the thrive theme and plugin with my new installed wordpress site here on WA. But it doesnt let me for some reason. Any advise?

I use something that's not a table, but good for comparison called Go Comparison Tables: http://codecanyon.net/item/go-responsive-pricing-compare-tables-for-wp/3725820

Thanks i will check into this.

I have existing unused domains which I would like to make into a niche review site(s). I was using Prosociate plugin until it broke and support is non-existent(it is truly junk

I wouldn't try to salvage the domains quite yet. My recommendation is to go through the courses here in WA and see how we set up our websites.

Personally, I recommend you do not create an 'online shopping mall' or ecommerce site for affiliate marketing. I've done it before, and I found that most people do no click from your blog to your shop to browse products.

You will have much more luck writing targeted blog posts and including specific affiliate links to products related to the topic. Remember, if you leave people to browse, many people will leave! You want to give them relevant information to their searches, and deliver relevant products.

That will convert much better into sales, and make better use of your traffic.

This whole process is explained in level 3 of your training. First, we need to focus on getting traffic! Once we get some traffic rolling into your site we will have a better idea of how to monetize your site properly. That's level 1 of your training. Online Entrepreneur Certification - Getting Started (Level 1)

The training is set up to build a strong foundation to your business. It's how I set up my first websites, so it's what I recommend you do as well :)

Once you go through the courses all the way through, you'll have a better idea of how to fix up your other domains the right way.

PS. I know that prosociate is junk, but I didn't know it broke and they didn't provide support!

Okay thats great advice.
I do find the conversion rate is very low and very sporadic at times. The one site gets about 70 uniques a day but has only made >$300 in about 5 months.

Since I started using Procoiate my page rankings have gone up slightly but perhaps by luck. In the last 2 months Prosciate has been having issues. I have sent for support numerous times and the last reply from support was they didn't know when it would be fixed???...Wow!

I will start on the training today as you suggested as my approach may be all wrong. I have put a lot of time into the sites and the return is very low. Obviously there is something missing in what I am doing.
Thanks

I think the site looks pretty good actually (I peeked above). If it's original content, then I don't see an issue with the site. Pages like this: http://naturaltestboost.com/product-category/fenugreek-testofen/ probably are not helping to make sales. I would no-index them and not focus on stuff like that. That's just my *opinion* though, and not a rule.

The content looks good, and and the niche is great.

But my main concerns would be that you said "most" of the content is original. Duplicate content will not help you, and may hurt you if it becomes a significant portion of what you put out there. Also, I don't know how reliant your site is on Prosociate. Have you uninstalled it or still using it? If they quit developing it and don't have any support, removing the plugin might cause issues (I'm not sure).

I would focus more on blogging as recommended by the training. You'll get more targeted traffic to products you want to promote that way.

You can also tweak your strategy as you grow your site.

I am going to take a gamble and say your own work, your own content is always better.

That's why you are here.

You are right Jared. Grabbing content from Amazon is a sure fire way to damage your site. I tried it! That's why I had switch domains from thehomebrewsite.com to brew7.com

ah well, you live and learn!

Well I didn't give you thewhole story. I do create most of the content but I have amazon throughout my site. http://naturaltestboost.com
I started out as a blog but have tried to make it into more of an authority site. Perhaps I'm going down the wrong road with having too much Amazon stuff?
