Hi, so I signed up for a number of affiliate networks including Rakuten.
A few days after I signed up, I got an email telling me that I got terminated and that my account ha

Hi - you commented in Live Chat that you were using brand logos on your site. You cannot do this, as they will be trademarked. I suspect that is what they were referring to.

Plus, is this your translation site you are referring to? Your affiliate disclosure is not fit for purpose. Each time within it, where it says "YOURWEBSITE.com" - you are supposed to change that to the name of your own website, otherwise, it is meaningless.

Oh snap, I need to change it
And yes, but I just removed all of them.
Do you think I could reapply if I told them I fixed everything?

I don't know, it is worth trying. I don't work with Rakuten, so I don't know how flexible they are.

I made the appropriate changes and emailed them. I really hope they do reinstate me because I wanted to promote one of their affiliates, which I think would be great for people in my niche.

I haven’t dealt with this before. Have you emailed them to find out why? They will probably have more insight.

It could be a suspicious email address, or your country of origin, or type of promotions you’re doing. Maybe something else though!

I didn't even post any links by them at all. I used my school email (as I am in university) and I am from the US.
I did email them so I am waiting to hear back from them.
It's just so random and unwarranted.

As it turns out I had to show them proof that I owned the website I listed. That might be your problem if you haven't done so already.
