Ways to avoid copyright infringement?

Hi - don't use a branded product in your domain name, only use copyright-free images and don't copy and paste any content from other websites.

First thing is not to do it. There are bots out there that will pick up any copyright.
Try copying and pasts into a word doc, then remove all formatting.

Can a domain or business name be changed? Or does another website have to be made?

Yes your domain name can be changed. I just went through this process. Before joining WA I had a domain name I didn't like I ask this question way back when -when domain was be outsourced they told me no i could not change domain name. later I found out through host provider my domain name can be changed and they did do But the 1st domain I didn't like is stll wilth me plus the new name. I do use the new name but some files host provider told me in system the first domain will sit in back ground. I will not suggest host provider to use but be careful who you use and ask questions.

If you have made a mistake on a dot com URL domain, it has to be changed yes. If siterubix, you may back up, delete and make another one.

A business name can be changed.

To back up site, I'd recommend you use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.

Are t-shirts for a big company too broad of a niche?

Hi, I believe if Tee's belong to a brand, you'd need their permission to further follow up and trade with.

However if private label then again you need do your research and find out if you should narrow down your search to choose a sub category or micro niche.

You can use Jaaxy to drill down keywords, look for searches (avg.) above 30 and competition (qsr. ) lower than 100, the lower the qsr the better.

https://my.jaaxy.com/search/keywords

For your choice of keywords, always do an incognito search on Google before settling on a keyword, to see who appears in the top 3 positions.

Further info and resources that may help you out include:

A niche is something you are passionate about and would write 100 articles or so about it, could be a hobby, an interest perhaps. To put it in perspective, would you be writing about it in five years time.

Via Kyle:
A niche can honestly be anything, what are you passionate about? What are you interested in?
When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:
I want to help people that ______________.
Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :) Kindly let us know how you get on.

Further search include:

You can do a google search

Your niche + affiliate programs
Your niche + affiliate programs + location

and see what results you get

You can search Affiliate Programs via left sidebar

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/affiliate-programs

Not really sure, but I would not do it, just too much work and the profit margin are low.

Design work, they like, they do not like it, you will be dealing with too many idiots before you have a decision with your T-Shirt.

I would think twice.

Joseph
