Are you learning from Your WA Blog?
Another day, another podcast and inspiration. This morning I listen to JT Debolt from MOBE. He was talking about consistancy, being consistant everyday. Take action, not just ordinary action but quality action.
What does this have to do with your WA Blog. Absolutely nothing. I always enjoy my podcast in the morning, it gets me going and inspires me to put in effort.
So back to what we are discussing. You WA blog.
I have published a few blogs here and I always measure the response to find out what engages members. This is a fantastic way to work out how you should be engaging with your prospects or team.
We all know and agree Wealthy Affiliates University is the best place to be to learn how to build a successful business online. We are all like minded and very involved in the online business niche.
For this reason it is perfect to gauge your posts ability to engage with your audience. If you are in the affiliate marketing niche you are in the right place.
So of all my posts on the WA Blog there are two stand outs where the engagement was streets above the rest. I looked at what I was doing different and it is very clear.
I was exposing myself and my vunerablity, showing I am not perfect. That I am human and can make mistakes, not always perfect and have doubts same as everyone else.
When I realalised this I took it to social media and the result were exactly the same.
If you want to engage with your audience, show them you are real. A person same as them who is not perfect. Yes you have the knowledge and solution they are looking for, but you are still one of them.
Do not put yourself above your audience, be one of them.
Cheers Kev

Excellent point! I do something similar with my WA blogs, but not as systematic. Thanks! Carol
Hi Carol, love to hear what you are doing. Perhaps I can learn something to add to my business. Cheers Kev
I've learned that I need to keep writing WA blogs in order for my WA followers to keep reading them. Taking time off is a killer in terms of blogs being read; there are so many people here, and so much writing; most people simply move on when someone takes a break. I assume that it's the same thing in the wider blogosphere. Moral of the story: WA blogs are a staging ground for the big show, and the shared currency is the regularity of our output.
Hi Carol, yes it is important to be consistent but be careful you don't neglect your own blog to post here.
It is a fantastic training ground with incredible feedback.
Cheers Kev
Good post Kev, myself I'm trying to spend most of my time on building content for my site. And that is hard enough lol. But I am trying to branch out and give the occasional update.
Thank you, Pierre. It is a very busy time when we first start but I learned the hard way. Work out what you are doing first so you can target the right audience with the content and solutions they are seeking.
Wish you all the best with your business, happy to help anytime. Just give me a shout.
Cheers Kev
