ive noticed that my website address starts with http but WA sites have https....should i be concerned about this?
hmmm, not quite...when i visited my website and clicked on the link i inserted in my post, it goes right back to my post and not to the WA welcome page....i have 3 links in the post and the same thing happens with each of them.
I sent you another email regarding this, I wasn't quite follow because I hadn't read your older post.

If you take payment (this does not mean promote affiliate programs), you will usually have your entire site or an aspect of it on https.
The "https" part simply means that you have what is called an SSL certificate which is an additional layer of encryption security used for transactions.
Some people have been fooled into thinking you get better ranks if your website is https, but that is untrue. All sites should be http unless as I said, they are accepting payment directly on their website.
thanks kyie...my biggest issue though is getting my website working correctly...been trying since saturday to get past adding 3 functioning links (as recommended in the bootcamp lessons) in my post to work; made some progress this morning with help from a few WA friends where the little hand actually appears and the link turns red when i hover the mouse over it...thats the progress, now when i click on the link it goes right back to my post that the link is a part of. can u help? ive been up from 6am trying to resolve this. if u can help pls keep it simple :)

i tried a suggestion from wendy and made a little progress :) the links are now alive...they have turned red and the little hand comes up, but when i click on it, it just goes b
Can you give us a live example of what you are referring to?
You can get all of your affiliate links from the WA Affiliate Program page Winsome:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share
Here you will get everything from your stats, the program details and commission structure, your affiliate links, create your custom messages, get banners, and some other awesome features.
If you are interested in promoting WA, I highly suggest you work through the Affiliate Bootcamp. This is training that I created and put a lot of thought and energy into. It is very interactive and if you work your way through all of the phases I can assure you that you will have a business in place.
thanks again Kyle,
my site is hyattforworkathomewealth
and i am in bootcamp...im almost sure the lesson said to click the affiliate link button for whatever WA page im on then copy and paste the link in my website; i did that and pasted in my post but it wasnt turning blue after i pasted. now it has turned red but when i click on the link it just took me back to the same post.
i dont see the point of going past that lesson in bootcamp if my website doesnt work, i just want to get past that hitch so i can continue training
im a bit worn from trying to resolve this for 2.5 days. i wll try the link you suggested in a little while.
If you are referring to the WA Affiliate links then that is a normal thing because you are already a member. The best thing to do is send a friend to go look at them from your computer so that you can actually see for yourself what others are going to be looking at.
do you mean look at them from a different computer? because i visited my site (not as admin) and the link just went right back to my post....

I noticed the site urges you to become a Premium member asap...does that mean you cant earn while your'e a Beginner?
Hi. No, you can still earn as a beginner. You don't have to become a premium member, but you won't be able to have access to the remaining certification courses. The courses build on creating a website, and if you're like me, I would have had no clue without the training. :) Michelle
