Does Jaaxy have an update every time Google has an updated algorithm? There was a huge Google algorithm update on August 1, that changed the way health and wellness sites as we

It's my understanding that Jaaxy uses historical data so it could take some time for changes to be reflected in the QSR. I pretty much ignore QSR as the only results that count are on the first page. Your competition is the first 10 articles. You have to write something that is better than the worst of the top 10. There's not much point in getting on page 2, no one goes there.

I was thinking about the traffic predictions...

People will keep using the same search terms so the traffic should flow as usual.

This issue has been talked about for some time now. Apparently it is an ongoing issue. Perhaps that is why SiteSupport suggested you take this to the community.

Thanks! Good to know. Just an FYI, but if you tell the site submission form that the issue is not directly about one of your domains, it automatically throws it out to the community, regardless of the issue. We need a way to report issues with the WA site.

Yes, I can understand that... so this mean that you were not actually communicating with SiteSupport at all then. I understood that "they" wouldn't let you submit a ticket mean you were told by them... not that the form didn't work. LOL, sorry about that.

Either way, I am sure Carson already is aware of this issue. However, if you wish to communicate directly with Carson you can: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/message/carson just be sure to click on "Report Content" for this issue so that your private message will go directly to Carson and not back out to the community.

TIP: When trying to reach either Kyle or Carson in a private message, make sure that the option you select offers you a blank form to use that is clearly labeled as "Contact Kyle or Carson", else your email would be shared back out into the community... or, your browser would be sent to the SiteSupport form.

I finally have it nailed for all of the social media platforms, but can't find the info for our own blogs here at WA.

This may depend more on the theme you use. You may want to Google search the name of your theme along with "tutorial" (without the quotation marks, of course) to see what is recommended.

Having said that... I have found that if I keep my image sizes as close to 600 X 315 that all of my social media accounts are happiest displaying my featured images.

Perhaps this tutorial will help explain the yellow star: or bookmarking as it. I also find that if you add your own personal tag to specific awesome tutorials once you know they exist, they're easier to find when you search using your tagged keyword(s).

It goes to show that rather than using the sucky seach engine here at WA to find training, it might be better to go to trusted sources, instead, and see if they've posted training on the subject you're looking for.

That being said, it's really tough for the newbie, who doesn't know who the trusted sources for tutorials are. You mentioned someone named, Robert (down-thread), who is great at tutorials. Could you link one for me, so I know who that is?

Marion is correct Laurie... and my bad! I usually put the member's username in brackets as in (aka boomergp08).

As for the search engine here, it isn't all that "sucky" once you get the hang of it. Once you are introduced to training that you KNOW you will need to refer to in the future, simply tag it with a keyword that YOU associate with it best and POOF! you'll have instant access to it in the future.

There are MANY MANY other members tutorials that I have found VERY helpful and that I am QUICK to refer other members to. Sorry if I mislead you on that part.

It's only sucky in that you have to already know what you're searching for. If you're a newbie, and don't know the names of people yet, and simply try to search by the subject?... it's pretty sucky, lol. I think Kyle relies too heavily on his Open Education Project, and should put more work into updating woefully outdated posts of his own. I understand that he's only one guy, but he could hire it out. It doesn't have to be a video. It could simply be a page in the help center that is continually updated. Just my humble opinion.

Searching the internet for the information you want can be just as "sucky" when you don't know how to search.

I wish I could remember the really cool technique that was taught when searching for stuff on the internet back in the early days. It was great advice and well stated.

You are missing my point. I'm an expert at searching on the Internet. Searching is not the problem. The easy availability of critical information for newbies, is the problem. Having to depend upon the community to find basic, critical information, like how you get paid for creating training, to be a problem with this site. Finding that information should be two clicks away, at maximum. I shouldn't have to search through the help center, and not find it, then search through the classrooms and find an outdated document, only to have to appeal to the community to find information that should. be. easy. to. find.

Oooh... well, those are the things that the community loves to help out with while Kyle handles the training and Carson handles the scripts to run the WA site. Sorry for my confusion.
