The Bluebird of Happiness
We have several bird feeders throughout our yard, and I love to bird watch. This morning when I looked out the window, I saw a tiny little bluebird. Old enough to fly, but so very small that it was obvious how young it was.
I’ve only seen a couple of other bluebirds around here, so seeing this baby bluebird was a first for me.
That little bluebird was so beautiful, and for some reason, it generated hope and happiness inside of me. That little bird reminded me that Spring is here and new life is all around us.
All of us need to see this new life; we need to get out and immerse ourselves in everything that this great earth has to offer.
I caught a picture of this young buck that’s been hanging out in our yard.
Once again, it’s a reminder of the new life and growth that surround us. There are so many reminders around us of our blessings now, as well as hope of what is to come.I started thinking about how that little bluebird has kept a smile on my face all day today.
The birds, the bees, the bucks...they’re all here, and they’re all growing, and new life is all around us.
I hope every one of you can get out and experience something beautiful this weekend.
I pray that I can make every one of you who read this to smile...even if it’s just for a moment.
I hope every one of you finds your bluebird of happiness.
