Facebook Blueprint Training Module 10 - Creating a Facebook Page
With this module we are already well catered for on Wealthy Affiliate with may blogs and trainings about setting up Facebook Pages (Like Page, Fan Page, Business Page).
I did find a few things that I want to share with you.
As you start getting activity in the form of "Likes" on your Page you get access to additional resources:
- 25 Likes: When you have 25 Likes you can create a user name for the Page .. that means you get a URL that makes it easer for people to go to your page Facebook.com/yourbusinessname .. chose your name wisely because once you set it you cannot change it.*
- 30 Likes: At 30 Likes on your page you have access to Page Insights .. which is "Page Analytics".
- 100 Likes: After 100 people Like your Page you can start “watching” up to 100 Pages. This is helpful so you can see how other Pages, including any competing Pages, are performing.
This module also covers Page Verification and the link to how to do it went to "Page Not Found". I was quite chuffed about that .. even Facebook has these issues!
I found the scheduling ability interesting. Not only can you schedule a Post but you can also schedule when to stop showing a Post in news feeds. This is useful if you have announcements or promotions with end dates.
For everything else on Facebook Page Setup use the WA search function above to locate trainings etc.

However, I must share that I was able to change my URL several years after creating the original URL for m FB page. No problem, FB took it.
You are totally right Kaju .. thanks for pointing that out. Facebook's own training is not completely accurate, and I missed it!
The Page URL can be changed but once and once only. So one still needs to be careful. It is a little bit tricky to find how to do it but I just tested it on a "trial" page that I have.
I put a footnote on the Post that the URL can be changed once and acknowledged you for pointing it out.
