If Gravatar had a face, I'll punch it.
It has been a little over a week and today I've finally got my Gravatar to recognize a profile picture. I was beyond frustrated with the process. I wasn't sure what was going on because my email address was verified, my wordpress account recognized the image, and Gravatar also recognized the image. So why wouldn't it work! :(
I was becoming frustrated because I want to continue the training and my next step was to leave comments. However, I was unable to do so because of Gravatar not recognizing a personalized image.
Here is how I finally managed to get it working.
1. Go to Gravatar and sign in.
2. Delete your image.
3. Find your Gravatar profile, and click "Hide" at the bottom right.
4. Go to WordPress.com and sign in.
5. Click on the personal settings icon at upper right. (It looks like a head and shoulders in a circle.)
6. Go to the Security tab.
7. Under "Connected Applications," remove Gravatar.
Now go Back to Gravar and sign in and upload a photo.
The first photo I tried to upload had the dimensions of 236x152px
Second photo has the dimensions of 528x524px.
(At some point it should say that Gravatar is hidden and that you should unhide it, go ahead and do so)
1. Upload a new photo
2. Click on "My Profile"
3. Go to "Photo Gallery"
4. Add New Image
5. Click on "Name and Details"
6. Save Profile
You should be able to sync your Gravatar with WA.
Cheers,

Nice post. Funny thing is when I came to Was was reminded I had a gravatar account and the cool picture attached.
It actually became the starting point for establishing my niche.
Thanks for this blog. Lakesha
The title of your post made me laugh because I am having trouble getting my gravatar to appear on my site and going around in circles is bringing up some frustrating vibes. My website and profile are dialled in but it is still not showing up. What should I do?
Is there a button or step you need to take to synch it with your website? Thank you for any insight you may have!!!
Solid! Thank you Helen. I have it sorted. I appreciate you taking the time and responding to my inquiry.
I hope life has you in a good vibe and I wish you a most solid day ahead :-)
Thank you again,
Bex
