I know there's no wrong niche since there are 4B people in line, but I'm trying to narrow down from several options so have some questions.

It really not that hard. Pick what you enjoy doing. If you cant choose and you are using amazon; just type in best sellers on amazon and then pick one of the depts. and then niche down. If you are not sure what i mean just keep selecting depts until you get to the product that you like. This is what i just done. https://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Health-Personal-Care-Bath-Bombs/zgbs/hpc/11056221/ref=zg_bs_nav_hpc_4_11056211.

Clarification & criteria for choosing first niche?

First off, welcome to Wealthy Affiliate!
To answer your first question, your first description of a niche is closer to being correct, one product limits you way too much.
As for your second question, you want to pick a niche that inspires you, if you think it is more inspiring to start with something your interested in learning a lot about, go in that direction. But if you think it would be easier to start with something you're familiar with and are still just as passionate about it, start there.
Keep in mind that as a Premium Memberr you have many sites available to you, so you can start one and get it going really good and get comfortable creating articles and reviews on one, then start another when you are ready.
Hope this was helpful.

Thank you Stacie! I really appreciate your input, especially your point about being able to have more than one site/niche eventually. :)
