Terms and Conditions; Understand your affiliate network's rules and fees.
Recently I've been reviewing some internet business opportunities outside of WA. As you guys know, there are scams and there are SCAMS. The BS detector gets mighty charged up when you investigate 'opportunities'.
The affiliate marketing sector relies on affiliate networks to connect the publisher to the merchant. Of course the networks, like Commission Junction and Clickbank etc. are in business like the rest of us, so fees apply as well as other terms and conditions and each network has their own set of rules.
Not wanting to 'leave any money on the table' you might sign up to multiple networks to keep those income streams flowing. That's a good thing. All I'm saying is.....
Before you sign up to a new network, make sure you go over their T&C pages carefully.
I stumbled on a network called clicksure.com who charges both the affiliate and the advertiser $45.00 to join. It's the first one I've seen who does this, mostly they are free to join. Combined with their other terms and conditions, they become an expensive way to earn a buck. By the way, clicksure will have your credit card details (no Paypal) to deposit your commission into...and to extract your sign up fee.
Go really well from Janelle,
and let me know what you think. Have you paid a joining fee to an affiliate network?

There scams and there are scams. You said it. I've seen so many and they never fail to try and entice with their standard sales talk of "this is only for the lucky 10" or something to this effect.
Just for the fun of it I recently joined a few "free" ones and went along to the next page until they asked for a minimal fee or investments. I turned around and left, and if an email follows I just unsubscribed...and to the following message why I'm leaving, my message is "no money".
I learn't to understand their psychology of luring the gullible and desperate and your review is timely, though I could have wished more on the internet can see it instead of only our WA family. They are more or less already in the know by our great program as it is.
Thank you Janelle, bless you.....

Thanks Shirley, I'm trying hard to get it out further and further on my website. Workin it every day. Thanks for your input.
Thank you for that Janelle I would not want to join a network if they charge the affiliate. I am looking at some now so this is great timing must be the Aussie vibe.
Take care keep going forward or floating forward in your case.
Have a great day.
Andre
Thanks Andre. Yes, there is a lot of work to be done just to recoup your join fee.
BTW I'm mostly on dry land for a while, but we did go out the Heads for the weekend to escape the NSW electioneering.
Well at least you got to go out that day. I go offer the position to work during the elections started at 7.15am finish at 11.10pm long day.
But it was interesting didn't realise how much work is involved at the election booth on the other side of voting.
Take care
Andre

Yikes ... I went back to my network (CJ, formally known as Commission Junction) and printed the T&Cs; to read, all full length 18 pages. I hadn't done that when I signed up since CJ was on Kyle's recommended list in the training.
No joining fees, but you are required to reactivate if you have no sales in 6 months. That seems reasonable in order to keep their membership files up to date.
Obviously written by an attorney, but good grief ... 18 pages! Just part of our business I guess.
Yes I have no problem with CJ. In fact I think they are one of the best. Keeping us on our toes!
