Don't Waste Your Money.
A very easy way to return from a casino with a small fortune is to go there with a large one. ~Jack Yelton
It’s possible to make more money by spending it, but not at the casino!
What I mean is, wherever you can, invest in bulk buys. This is not thinking small. It’s creating abundance on a very practical level and you need to do a bit of planning to make it work.
- My friend and her husband both needed to upgrade their cars. When they asked the dealer for a better price if they bought two cars, he almost bent over backwards to do a deal and saved them $8000.
- Look out for offers that let you pay a year in advance on memberships and subscriptions. In many cases you will be ahead by 45% or more.
- Don’t presume that every bulk buy is a bargain. Check the math, especially in supermarkets where they rely on your assumption that ‘more is cheaper’.
- Research the price comparison websites, particularly for insurance and travel deals.
Being prepared for opportunities is entrepreneurial. Do you have a method that avoids wasting money?
Go well from Janelle.

So true. It makes good sense to be a smart consumer. We have some points systems from retailers that can really add up, it's well worth using them. Since we work smart to make money may as well be smart in spending it!
Yeh Katie, I have my eyes wide open for all kinds of wonderful opportunities. Actually I try to keep my life in a state of readiness. Who knows what is around the next corner.
Good tips Janelle. Another one for your collection: At the supermarket, always check the high and low shelves (as opposed to the eye-level shelves) because the better buys are usually up high or down low. The supermarket relies on people buying at eye level where the supermarket makes the most profit. ~Marion
