Hi all. I'm not sure if this is a subject I am allowed to post here as I have never asked any questions on WA before....I recently tried to run a Like Campaign for my Facebook

Yes, you can create another Facebook account with another email and be more careful this time. Facebook becomes more stringent these days. You do not want to create your ads straight away. Let the account mature by posting normal thing. You can even create a new page with the new account. Facebook does not like people promoting affiliate product on their site. What you can do is redirect people to your site where you promote your affiliate products/services.

Hi. They have only disabled my Ad account inside my business account. My page in my business account still works. So what I mean is can I keep my personal FB account and my FB business account that is attached to my personal FB account, and just create an additional Ad account within that existing business account? Thanks...

I don't think they would allow that. You may try but from my experience I was not able to create another ad-account within the same business account. It was quite some time ago and I am not sure if there is any changes to the rule.

In case it helps anyone else, I managed to solve this issue without having to create a new Ad account or anything new at all...Basically I just used several of Facebook's different 'forms' which they provide for people to report issues with Ad accounts, payment methods etc. In the end I got a helpful response from someone rather than the previous "Cannot help" type of responses. That person actually told me what info I could provide to help them resolve the problem. I provided it and they unlocked my Ad account and bingo, I was able to launch the Ad I had been trying to launch in the first place. The credit card is still blocked on their system but luckily I already had another one added so I was able to use that one. Right now I am wondering whether to go back to them to ask for the original credit card to be unblocked or whether to leave things alone for fear of triggering another nightmare process if the person on the other end decides to be unhelpful. So I may just opt to never use that credit card on FB...No big deal...Onwards and upwards....

Thx for sharing this information Neil, well appreciated!
