Know Your Worth
Hi WA Friends,
Many factors will determine our levels of achievement in life. There are plenty of extrinsic elements that will fluctuate over time which will impact your life positively and negatively.
However, one thing that plays into the equation in terms of life's journey, is knowing your personal value. What is your self-worth?
That one thing alone colors the lenses of life as you see it. And it can go either way.
When I say self-worth, I'm not talking about qualities that you possess, such as you're a good friend, a dedicated worker or a committed parent.
What I'm saying is that you need to really get to know yourself. It is then that you determine your self-worth. What is the message you hear in your brain about yourself?
Do you quietly speak well to yourself or do you actually feel less than? That secret internal messaging can work for or against us.
Self-worth is your own personal dialogue. It's the message you give yourself about how worthy and "good enough" you are. Those thoughts impact how you feel about what happens to you and around you.
This is not the same thing as self-esteem, which is dictated by things outside yourself.
When you work on your self-worth, your inner light shines brighter. Things become clearer. You become stronger.
One thing to always keep in mind is not to give that power to someone else for you to determine. YOU need to be the captain of your ship.
You can do it. Work on your own personal message. Be your own cheerleader. For if you are not your best friend, who will be?

That is so important because when you know how much you're worth, that's half the battle won with ALL the negativity that faces us in the world.

It seems to me that I have been competing with myself all my life, and it will be like that for the rest of my life. When you stop questioning yourself, competing, letting others lead you, it's scary. You are lost. You are entering a vicious circle and it can take years to get out.
