I'm just wondering if every post I create should revolve around affiliate products, or should I have a mix of some informational post to drive traffic and some based on affilia

Its been said that the percentage of Informational posts should be 70% of your posts and only 30% should be product related.

Its' the informational that grow your traffic. Have you check questions people ask - answersocrates.com

Ok that makes it easier. I was misunderstanding a little bit and was trying to do post based on products. I actually ran into a lack of post ideas. Thanks for helping me understand and get back on track. I appreciate you all.

No worries and you're very welcome!

No, you will seem way to salesy and your traffic will flee! Try to solve a customer's problem first and foremost, Drew!

Essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.

You should have more informational posts vs commercial. Also with your review posts, I would not convert to commercial intent until the post has been marinated.

Hi - the majority of your content should be purely informational with no selling intent. you may wish to read my blog post on the subject.
