Very first website, officially has made its first $1,000
Today is an important day for me. I know most people don't really talk about the money they make from their websites, but a lot of newcomers are always asking the questions, "How much money do you make?" and "How long did it take to start making money?"
And obviously the answers will be completely different for everybody. It just depends on so many factors, but for me it took about 2 months of hard work before my website made just $1.20 in commission. However small it was, I was SO excited because I knew it was proof this whole online marketing world really worked, and that it would only get better from there.
And guess what? I was right. I started in February 2013. That first sale was made two months later in April. It took til about mid-May before I started getting a decent number of sales, but even so ever since it's sort of been a roller coaster. Up and down. Some days are great, some days are bad. The entire month of June for me was pretty bad. But overall, the traffic, sales, and profits are all trending upwards.
And here I am today in August, 7 months later, and I've made my first $1,000. Things only keep getting better too, and I know with more work I will be able to double that number in no time at all.
Seeing $1.20 was exciting, seeing $1,000 is proof I can really start seeing some serious money soon.
So this is definitely not a way to get rich quick. It's challenging and takes patience, but I LOVE it, and I am determined to one day make a living at it!

Great job, Wendy. Your story is an inspiration to all! Can you provide any details that show how you reached this milestone? :-)
I am not exactly sure what details you're looking for, but I can tell you it took countless hours of dedication. I also had to force myself not to give up, I wanted to a couple of times but I am so glad I didn't. Just, follow the training provided here and don't try and take shortcuts. Keep at it, be patient and you will see results.
