Reaching top 200 rank with wealthy affiliate review

It is quite an exhilarating feeling to just see the Rank 200.

"Every master was one time a beginner"

It all started from a free membership and after upgrading for premium membership I was rank 14597. I was not tech savvy and had no knowledge of computers, affiliate marketing, website development, word press etc. But, the community and the inspirational writing got me going.

Manage your Thoughts

There is a common saying that "It is all your mind". The mind is the only survival tool ever given to man or the homo sapiens. We have the mind and we have a choice to think. The greatest challenge and responsibility is that thinking is not automatic but is a choice which we must exercise or not. Dr Charels Raymond Barker assert that the quality of your thoughts determines the quality of your lifestyle.

I had to learn to think differently and manage my thoughts. If look in the picture which I learned from listening to Robin Sharma's talk on the keys to success, he illustrates that what we think sets in motion the feelings and emotions. How we feel also sets in motion what we do. And what we do when repeated will produce certain habit and results.

"Success is repetition of successful actions"

However, our actions are just a mirror of the thoughts and the emotions we allow in our life.

Rankin 14599 had a profound impact on my thinking. But then as I got more people following and commenting on my blog posts and websites, I saw the ranking improving. This also created another feeling.

Manage Your Feelings

Affiliate marketing or blogging or being in any business, will impact on us. When I started with wealthy affiliate I had to go through various emotions and feelings. I have never been a writer and English is my 7th language.The thought of online and affiliate marketing generated mixed feelings. I had dobuts about being succesful and even getting any ranking on google. However, I began to focus on my personal goals which led me to choose Wealthy Affiliate program. I had a choice to either feel scared or imagine the day when I am earning $100 a day while I am here in South Africa. Changing my focus generated a warm feeling as I started to visualize the type of life and the freedom this idea is affording me. I had a choice to succumb to my fears and my fearful imagination or to complete the 10 steps of the Wealthy Affiliate training.

At times I would feel discouraged when I could not even come up with an article. During such times I would immerse myself in training, review other people websites to earn credits, and read blogs or help other people with their questions. Reading through the frequently asked questions, was also a great booster.

Following those who were Top 100, Top 50 and Ambassador began to generate confidence in my journey with Wealthy Affiliate. Emotions are simply reaction to your results or from your thoughts. If the results are not good, then you may begin to feel so down and discourage. Always remind yourself that the results you are getting is just feedback and are a set of new instructions as to what needs to do next. Any feedback can be negative or positive which may either energize you or de-energize you. How you manage the result of your actions and your feelings is simply acceptance of what is. Accept that you are as you are and then seek for the new idea which will move you forward.

Managing Your Actions

How we feel determines what we will do. When we feel optimistic about our niche area, or our topic we are writing, then we are more energized to do more. When I began to Rank 5000, I began to watch what others who were ranking Top 50 and Top 100 were doing. You have two types of actions:

1. NIPA - Non Income Producing Activities
2. IPA - Income Producing Activities

NIPA are those activities that are not in alignment with your goals, needs and wants. No one is the judge of which activity is non-income producing activity other than yourself. You are the plaintiff, the defendant, the lawyer, the prosecutor and the Judge of what is a NIPA.

IPA are those activities that move you closer to the achievement of your goals, needs and wants. I reduced my time on social media and began to focus on giving more attention to review websites on the Wealthy affiliate platform. I began to optimize my hobbies in line with my research activities. I started focusing on the implementation of the training here at Wealthy Affiliate.

I am forever grateful for wealthy affiliate community, the encouragement and your reviews of my blog posts. I did not though this was going to be more than 700 words, but I have noticed that "Practice makes Permanent"...

I am also aware that what brought me here, will not take me there.

There, is 300.

There, is $100 a day.

There, is my ability to work from home and never worry about how to sustain my life or the end of the contract from my employer.,

There,is when I will help many more affiliate community members to be successful and live in abundance.
