Today it's my first day to waking up at 4:00 AM.

I have been reading The 5 Seconds Rule by Mel Robbins for the past 10 days. I have started practicing the #5secondRule and it is hard to do things you don't feel like doing.

Today waking up at 4:00 AM and not hitting a snooze button gave me more breath of fresh air. I am listening to the cockerels greeting the morning cockerels. I walked outside to see the three-quarter moon.

And most of all I had just 20 minutes to share this challenge.

Why would I want to wake up early?

1. I have been hitting snooze button on my life goals. I lamented to a friend that I had no time.

2. I just wanted to take control of my life.

"Those who love sleep will suffer in poverty "

I love sleep but can't stomach poverty at all. Ideas not wake up because I am afraid of poverty but I love to be in control of my life.

In the past 90 days, I reads a book by Mel Robbins "Stop Saying I am Fine" and another great book by Dr Charles Raymond Barker, "The Science of Succesful Living". These two books stimulated so many ideas about the power of focus and techniques to get what I want in life.

Who does not want happiness in their life?

I noticed that I am more happy when I am making progress and doing things. I am always frustrated by doing nothing.

"You are more happy when you do something".

I have more than two reasons to wake up, but most of all I enjoy being living and growing what is important to me.

Push yourself is the lesson I learned from Mel Robbins.

I am making what is unfamiliar familiar

I am I doing what I do not feel like doing which I know I need to do.

The 5 minute rule was a great book. I guess I need to reread what I highlighted. It works well.

Getting up at 4? I'm just starting to get some deep sleep then. I get up at 7 normally.

Debs, thank you. I know 4 am is too steep. I go to sleep at 9 pm and just testing and growing myself into being productive.

Thank you Geoffrey, I am just changing a habit of being lazy and procrastination. I have been a good worker for my boss but bad employee to my own business.

I am learning from you guys to be ahead and showing up for the game.

Great post and great challenge. Success comes easier when we push ourselves outside our comfort zone. I love getting up early and my morning rituals to set my day ahead. Thanks for sharing two good book recommendations.

Thank you, Tracy, for encouragement and be a leader to learn from you. I am re-organizing my working routines and habits of success are simple but not so easy. Pushing ourselves is a great way to go to live in our dream lifestyle.

You're welcome. I find introducing one or two new healthy habits at a time, say once a week can feel more manageable rather than trying to change everything all at once which can sometimes feel overwhelming.
