Hey my lovely people here,

I wish to ask about the 'breadcrumbs' issue.
Recently I have changed my theme to GeneratePress and I absolutely love it and will stick on it.

Well, the breadcrumbs issue seems kinda resolved a lot but I still noticed there are like five breadcrumbs there.

How can I fix it so there will be no more of these fellas?
I tried to ask the Technical support here before, they don't have a proper solution though.

Do I have to disable the breadcrumbs in the AIO SEO?
If fixing them requires all the coding stuff, I don't think I can handle that, lol.

Thank you again for answering my question and have a blessed weekend ahead.

Joe

Yay!
Finally had all the breadcrumbs issues solved. There are literally 0 issues when I checked on the GSC report today.

Thank you everyone for all the tips and suggestions on fixing the breadcrumbs issues.

Appreciated it.

Ops, I was too excited earlier LOL.
I obviously did nothing much, Richard.
I just followed tips from you guys to change the theme to Generate Press, off the Breadcrumbs in AIO SEO, then I on it back a few days later.
When I checked on the GSC today, it is completely gone. I hope this will be permanent.

Thank you,
Joe

Hey Joe ... you took action and persevered. That might not feel like much because you didn't have enough knowledge to start with but...
without that action you'd have achieved nothing and wasted all of our time! It's great when people make progress like this.

I can't agree more with you, Richard.
I was just worried about these breadcrumbs issues ( with my previous theme ) which might affect my website's SEO in the near future.

Thank you,
Joe

Hi Joe
I would have thought that if you just turn breadcrumbs off under the general tab in AIOSSEO that'd do it.

What is the breadcrumbs "issue" please?
Also, with your previous theme what did you do to invoke breadcrumbs?

The thing is that breadcrumbs can be good for SEO (Google doesn't use them as such but they give credit because they believe breadcrumbs make a site more user friendly).

My apology, I should be clearer on the question, Richard.
There are 4 errors that said - Invalid URL in field "id"
I did off it yesterday but when I rechecked the GSC just now, it is still the same status.

On my old theme, I did turn it off in AIOSEO but nothing much happened.

Hi Joe,
I see that you changed your theme to GeneratePress, well done!!
I'm not too familiar with the breadcrumbs issue, but if you cannot resolve it through AbieAJ's wonderful help and link, then I do have a website guy (design and speed optimization) that can do technical work like this. Please let me know if you get stuck.
