Good day everyone. Just don't understand why Google keeps tracking my website visits. I have added my analytics code again in all in one SEO plugin for author and admin and still my vist is counted as I can see my self going online. Why doe this happen? Any suggestions are apreciated to avoid this from happening..

Not having a constant IP address might be the problem.

further down in your all in one seo general settings are optinos to ignore various levels of users on your site
if you click admin then whenever you are logged into your site you will be ignored
any testing you do as an anoymous visitor wil lbe logged
good luck

if you are logged into your site you won't be tracked
if you are incognito then you will be
try logging in and see if you are in your analytics
then try it incognito and see if it makes a difference

No, I am not Cognito, I just published an article and have a look how the piece looks like on my site, then st the same time check google Analytics and see one person in real-time what is me on my new post. Admin and author are ticked in all un in SEO.
Perhaps it has to do what Fave mention as my IP address changes everyday?

if you tick the box in all in one seo then this gets around this - i had this problem earlier and this sorted it ....

But I have ticked the boxes? For some strange reason my analytics id disappeared but after I have filled it out again and ticked the boxes it seems to exclude my visits, however yesterday I noticed my visit got tracked again while the boxes are ticked🤷‍♀️

maybe it's something to do with being on mobile - i'm always laptop or desktop....

If you want to exclude your visits, you need to enter your IP address through the filters option.

Hi, when filling out in all in one SEO to exclude visits from admin and author it should not track my visits, right? My IP address changes continuously, so it is not efficient to change this in my filter every single day.
I was hoping the all in one SEO should work but for some reason doesn't?
Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it.

Reserving an IP address for your computer on your router would be the fix.

Hmmm, this sounds technical, is it?

A little bit, but not too hard. No idea what router you have, but you could do that using Google or the router manual.
