Looking for feedback on my website name. My domain name is suppliesfordog.com. My website's name is Dog Supplies. I'm feeling that my website name is boring. Should I change the website name to suppliesfordog.com ? Or should I look at changing the website name to something more memorable? Something that will stand out more ?
From what I understand in training - its not the name of your website that brings in traffic - it's your content. So if I changed the name of my website it wouldn't effect my traffic?

I see you have a beautiful pup you obviously love very much!
and if i had to guess your pup is the reason for your niche!
That's perfect!
What if you did this though... .
Knowing you know your pet very well and knowing everything he likes and probably why!
Why not make a site centered around your pet and what they like!!
Its something you could easily blog about and also answer comments on!
Just a idea. Maybe this helps!

Its a very broad niche! maybe narrow it down to start with!
Maybe something like Organic Dog Supplies, Or Dog Supplies for large dogs. Or maybe even Best Dog Supplies!
Think of it like you are targeting a certian pet owner with a certian pet that needs what you are offering!
Then once you have your targets attention you explain/pitch the product like you would be explaining it to a friend!!
I just see Dog Supplies being very broad and difficult to cover starting out!

No I wouldn't change it unless its not relevant enough compared to the niche of the site its self! Engaging content will make the name memorable by itself no mater what it is!
