Hi
I have added Gravity Forms to my website to add some specific data capturing functionality. Essentially I am creating forms that are a worksheet people can fill out as they walk the Tracks on my site. They can bring the relevant form up on their Smartphone and enter the answers as they solve the clues. This bit I have figured out.

The second part is beyond me at this stage.

When they submit the Form, I want to send them an email with the Questions, their answers and my official answers.

What I can't figure out is out to get the information to the email that is then automatically sent.

It appears that i use ther Gravity Forms Notification option and then use the Pages or Redirect option. They talk about creating a string to get the information from the Form they entered and then loaded to another Form or perhaps email. I am struggling with this bit.

Any ideas to assist with this?

I have sent them a support ticket almost 24 hours ago and no response as yet.

Thanks

Richard

Just an update.
I have spent quite a bit more time thinking, playing etc with the possibilities and am just about there.
I have the email being sent to the person with the data they entered into the Form and I have an Official Answers page displaying. I now just need to work out how to get the Official Answers on the email also and then I have conquered this aspect - which has been very challenging!
Hopefully that can be solved tomorrow!

Perhaps you can provide a link in the email to take them to the official answer page. This will also get them going back to your site (never a bad thing)

Thanks. I like the idea.

My only issue is that I am having trouble adding anything extra into the String that passes the information to the notification email. If I can work this one out - I could add the email link and/or the answers.

Do you know anyone on here that might just know how to add something into the String. I think its a 5 minute job for someone who knows what they are doing.

Cheers

This sounds like A rather involved programming issue. If you have a technical college that teaches software programming, I would give that try. See if there's a bachelors level programmer that might assist you.

Thanks for this.
I think it is not really hard - I am just missing a step. Hopefully Gravity Support will come back with an answer otherwise I do have a friend who programmes Wordpress Websites as his job - so I'll talk with him.
