I’ve just updated my theme to the pro version and need to insert my theme license. My understanding is that there is apparently a ‘Theme License’ option under Appearances in the Word Press admin section of my site. I can not see this field so was after some guidance please?

Hi Jason. If it is GeneratePres then in your back office in the left-hand margin go to GeneratePress>Appearance. In the right-hand margin, you should see a place to add your license code. For me, it's under the heading "Updates" but I already upgraded and it may have read differently originally. The same procedure may apply if you have a different theme.
If you don't mind please let me know if this works.

Thank Philip. the theme is called ‘Start Blogging Pro’ which is a range of blogging themes by ‘Blogging Theme Styles’. I YouTubed it and ended up stumbling across the answer about 5 min ago. I had to download a series of files and then drag (upload) them into the ‘Add New Themes’ area of Word Press. After uploading the Theme License key then appeared so I could include and go from there. The instructions were actually quite poor but I got there in the end. Thanks for coming back with your thoughts though Philip - much appreciated once again.

Jason.

Glad you got it sorted, but what a performance you had to go through. Still, if you are happy with the theme it was likely worth the hassle. Good luck with it.

glad you are sorted - bit of a pain though - you would have thought as you bought it they would have included instructions on how to add it to the theme....
