Hi WA family,

I have had some Amazon Sales but they don´t feature on their site, what do you think might be the cause? Has anybody else faced this problem? Advice welcome please.

Best Regards,

Trevor

From Amazon's terms and conditions:

"You will not permit, request or encourage any of your friends, relatives, employees, contractors, or business relations to directly or indirectly purchase any Product"

Amazon have a lot of rules which can get you banned. For example, not having an Affiliate Disclosure, or that you cannot show the price of a product or use their product descriptions, reviews or star ratings.

Thanks Diane. All the more reason to search for other affiliate agreements I think! I appreciate your helpful advice.

Some categories don’t qualify for payment such are grocery items or kindle books

also is there someone in your address what they will not pay. In short, they will do anything they can not to pay

As Diane says, if they've not shown up, how do you know you've had them?

It was from a completely different address.

And how did whomever purchased the product get to the product? Did they go via your website, or did you send the link direct?

Yes. Via my link.

Hi - if they are not showing up, how do you know you have had some sales? You cannot purchase through your own links, and neither can your friends, or family. Not only will you not get commission, but you could also be banned from their program.

If the sales are genuine, they don't show up until the products are shipped.

Friends and family members won't pay you a commission. Check out the screen print below...

Hi - the first thing they check is the IP address to see if it was somebody in your household. They also consider if the purchaser has the same surname. And surprisingly, they can access your email contact list. This may sound unbelievable, but many members here have shared stories of being linked to the purchaser when it wouldn't seem possible.
