trying to verify my website with an affiliate program.
they have asked me to paste code to the front page of my website.
I own the website.
I am using Septera Version: 1.5.0 for my theme.
The affiliate program is flexoffers

The error message is :
"We couldn't find the verification meta tag on your home page. Please check your meta tag or file location and try again."

I understand pages and posts but can not seem to understand where to paste this code. No matter where I put the code it is not being recognized for website verification.

getting tired and will try again tomorrow.

Any feedback that could be provide regarding what my "front page" is or where flexoffers is looking for the code would be greatly appreciated.

You need the Insert Headers and Footers plugin. It's the same as applying for Adsense so this video will show you what to do.

You can use the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your themes files directly as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme.
