Hi all, my site had the bing verification code previously. With the update to the new al in one SEO, the Google analytics code and Bing verification code didn't automatically transfer to the new plugin. The problem is that the Bing code is not visible like the code in your google analytics account.

How can I possibly know what the code is? Do I have to delete my site in Bing and redo it all and loseall my history? I think I added Bing through Google Analytics when I did it and perhaps they not even gave me a code as all the information was transferred. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance for any who can help.

Jude

I have signed up to this but have absolutely no idea how it works. I really need to get to grips with all of these things. I have followed the training and signed up and done everything that I should but I am still a little overwhelmed with the technical side of things. I think I'm just burying my head in the sand at the moment and focusing on content. I will have to be brave in the next week or 2 and get my act together!!!

There is definitely a lot of information to absorb, especially for someone who is a complete beginner to web building and design. Just be careful of burn out, taking it step by step at your own pace, baby steps if need be.

The main thing is to not give up! Take a break or a walk to clear your head when need be and just know the whole community is behind you and here to answer any questions you might have along the way :D

I think I am having the same issue. My Bing Webmasters tool has not been tracking my performance since Dec 25, which is right around the time I did the AIO SEO update

Yes, my analytics stopped too after I did the setup wizard. It just started working now again but still unsure what to do about adding the Bing code to all in one SEO.
Thanks for stopping by.

After doing some digging, it appears we need to connect our Bing accounts with google search console using the Import from GSC feature. Seems simple enough except I haven't been able to find the feature in Bing thus far haha. I am thinking once this is done we won't need to add a Bing code since it will be tracking through the connected google code.

I'm still looking but wanted to drop in and share my progress before I head off to work today. Maybe you will figure out the rest before I return :D

Best, Shannon

I looked for it last night and never did find it. I did find the information you shared above, but like you said where is the import from GCS function at.

I could only find it for adding a new user. Wasn't able to find a way to connect a current account.

Hey Jude,

Looking at the new developer's WordPress site, clicking on Support, I can see SEVERAL unanswered tickets.

It seems many are now simply deserting this plugin for other SEO plugins due to the many changes the new developers have created for v4.0.11.

If you want to stick with using this plugin, you could put in a ticket to see if the developer can help you: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/all-in-one-seo-pack/

So sad to have lost a once upon a time great plugin though.

Hope you find this helpful.

Hi Jude I just recently did this course on Bing in Level 5 lesson 9 Kyle explains how to add Bing to your website and it works a treat. What level are you on?

Hi Yvonne, thanks does he I may have to recheck this. I have added Bing to my website ages ago, but the problem is that Bing doesn't keep the verification code visible in your Bing account. Now we have the new SEO plugin I do need to know the verification code, and I was hoping to find a way to do this.
Thanks for your suggestion. I appreciate your help.

I did the same as Warren.

Yes, I did this too Lisa, I don't quite understand it, yet I think. So because we verified ownership of Bing through Analytics, you don't have to fill out the Bing code in all in one SEO?
Thanks for stopping by.
