I would like to improve my site health for plugins; the above plugin is my best option, but I am not sure if it was one of the wa original plugins or how important the plugin is for my website.

That plugin is for converting a post to a page, or a page to a post. WordPress handles the code differently for these two post types. Unless you specifically want to switch your posts from one to the other, you don't need that plugin. ~Jude

Don't forget, just because you have a plugin that you wish to use, once you have done what you needed to, it can always be deactivated until you need it again, thereby not overloading how many plugins you have in use.
