What I mean is this. My website is wealthyrelief.com and my static front page shows my recent posts, the problem I'm having is my first 2 posts are showing the ENTIRE post, but I only want it to show a small part of it and then you click a link to read the rest of it. Does anyone know how I go about doing this?

Hello for this login to your site manager. Click on Settings under that you will get options like GENERAL, WRITING, READING. Click on Reading and scroll down there you will find an option for showing full text or summary choose summary and save changes. You blog roll will then only show summary of articles.

Hope this helps :)

I tried that and saved changes and it still didn't work for some reason. I did try next though what TheOldSilly suggested and that worked. Thank you though and I'll remember what you said as well as it probably could work for my other website.

With the theme that you are using, can you change that in the appearance section in Wordpress?

In your visual editor, there is a tool, on the top row, second from the end, looks kind of like the "action" and "cut" clacker that they use when filming movies. Insert that wherever you want in your post, and then when people are reading your post they will see however much you want, with a tag line underneath that says "read more" - they can click on that if they want to read the entire post.

You're welcome. I actually stumbled on it one day by accident, and was like, "Wow! That's cool!" lol
