Follow the instructions of verna8767. You can edit and publish as many times as you need to, and as you add more content to your posts and pages. All the answers will help you here.

This WA community is truly a friend in need is a friend indeed. I have never experienced anything quite like it on the internet. I ask a question in a complete panic, after posting my first page. Then two friends pop up as if waiting for me, with answers and ready to help. Publishing your first website is scary, let alone when you do it incorrectly. You may ask how one could do that? Well, I did, yes only me, my first page had two duplicate paragraphs. When I read it, I think my face turned green. My understanding was the publish button caught these mistakes. It did not. Worse yet I did not catch it eighter Thank you for being there for me. WA is truly a beautiful community. with my sincerest gratitude to all Sandy Dragonfly10

I don't hit the publish button until I am positive my article is completed and ready for outside eyes to see. What I do not publish it immediately, but instead I will hit the "Save Draft" button. That way I can go in and out of my posts until it is ready to publish. When my article is completely ready to be shared only then do I hit the "Publish" button.

Just remember that while you are still editing your post you must it the "Save" button each time before you leave the page.

The only time you hit the "Update" button is when you have already published the article and you then went back in to add or change something.

Hope this helps you.

This helps more than you know. I will not publish any more drafts. My website will 100% complete before I hit the publish button again. Needless to say, that will be a while. Again thank you for being there for me.

I don't mean for you to wait until you have completed your entire website before you publish anything! That wouldn't be good to do. I just mean as you write each of your articles.

What you start to write an article, but can't finish it so you save it as a draft and don't publish it. You can go in and out of that draft article until you finish it and are ready for the world to see. When you are ready to share it with the public then you click the "Publish" button.

Then you have one article published and now you can start to write your next article and do the same thing you did with the first article. That process goes on and on as long as you have the website.

Do into your post page and click the edit button. You can change anything from there, or even add more media. It's very easy.

Go to the Dashboard, click on "post". Then select "All Posts". That will bring up a list of all your post. put a check next to the post you want to edit. Hover under the bottom of the post name and there several things will show up that you can click on. Click on "Edit" and that will take you to your post edit page. After you have made the edits click on "Update" on the right side.

NOTE: Make sure you do not click on the "Quick Edit". Just click on EDIT. It should be the first one listed.
