It is a post now. It is the first paragraph on the first page of my post, when I selected "excerpt" as an attention getter to introduce my post. When you select "excerpt", it automatically displays the first 160 characters of your post. My website is uncatergorized.

I am having difficulty with the static page functions of my website and I would like to start my post with the complete first page instead of the "excerpt". Thanks...

I have used excerpts. However, I did change my first page (home page) and it is now a static page. This may be helpful to you: I hope this helps.
