I am sure we all probably know by now that we have access to over 1.000.000 optimised images through Site Content.

My question is on the content that I wrote in the past and is already published without using this new image feature.

Say if I want to to improve images on my old content, is that possible?

Secondly, if so, can someone please give me a walk-through. Many thanks

Hello! I totally agree that you can download the images to a test post on SiteContent (I created a post called “Pictures” and there I have downloaded all the images I have searched with the idea of pasting them on older posts or on posts inside WA). Once you have the images on this test post on SiteContent, you can right click them and “Save images as…” (this will save them on your PC). When you have these images saved on your PC, go to the back office of WordPress and select “Add media” and past them on your old posts.

Most of the images in SiteContent are from: http://Pixabay.com, http://Pexels.com and http://Unsplash.com. Wealthy Affiliate has done a wonderful job in grouping in one place all these sources. But if you have problems downloading images for older posts using SiteContent, you could check each one of these sources separately. :)

Thank you so much, Henry, for taking your time and explaining all this. Now I know the image sources - really useful.

yes, that's what I'd do. You can't go back in and edit the old posts from Site Content.
So you can write a new article in Site Content and use the picture tool.
There indeed do the right click, save, and then upload in your wordpress editor.

Alternatively, you can just go to pixabay.com and search for an image there. Most images from Site Content come from pixabay anyway, I think.
