I was curious if anyone's had any "css issues" with the Google AMP plugin recently.

This is what it shows in Search Console :
"Author stylesheet specified in tag 'style amp-custom' exceeds limit 50000 bytes"

Two days ago, I got an email saying that a few of my pages were no longer valid. Today, it's saying that now 18 pages are affected.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

I found this on the google forum.

You will have to bring down your CSS size, it is a limitation from AMP.

Read the topic in the Google forum group.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Stefan, I'll take a look and see if there's a solution somewhere.

It looks like more than a few people have run into some issues with AMP.

A lot of recent updates might be part of the reason.

Appreciate the response. :)

You are welcome.

My theme got AMP now through a new plugin, posts look good and very fast on mobile, but need to do some alignment of the photos and text.

Need some experimentation., but no errors, got lucky i guess. :))
